“Brilliant pub, quiet and peaceful, with a great history! Used to be a music hall back in the 1800's so has been there for a long time. If you want a quiet drink or catch the footie it's a great place to go. Also a great place to have meet ups and functions too! They have a nice little back room that our theatre company rehearses in from time to time and they are always very nice and accomodating! Seriously can't praise this place enough!”

“Recommended by our Air BnB host and did not dissapoint. Booked a table and met by a welcoming team of staff. Ordered drinks and garlic dough balls to start. Really tasty and all came out hot and in good time. For mains we had a carbonara and American hot pizza, really tasty and good portions with a thin crispy pizza base. Finally we had a chocolate fudge cake to end and was extremely pleased with the bill at the end! All in, very impressed and would highly recommend a visit if you're staying in the area during it looked like they did takeaway too.”

I'm not a huge sushi fan but the choice for sashimi was quite vast. I chose the vegetarian gyoza. They looked great and tasted good too. They could have maybe been a bit crisper inside but it didn't deflect from the taste. I decided on the only ramen on the menu. It was as good as any I've had at chain ramen restaurants and a bit better. The decor is modern and the staff were all incredibly welcoming and efficient. A nice find.”
