“Pleasantly surprised; Travelodge doesn't always have the best reputation but I booked a few weeks in advance and managed to get a Saver Rate room at £37 for the night as somewhere to stay for a night out. Very budget hotel but clean and warm room, couldn't hear any noise in the corridors or any road noise (when the window was closed) and the bed was comfortable. Plenty of space in the car park, staff friendly and security presence at night. Didn't have breakfast or use the bar/cafe facilities so can't comment on those.”

“We used Denver to fit our kitchen last week, we are really happy with the way the work was carried out right from contacting the firm to arrange a quotation to completion. They were punctual and professional in all aspects of their work. We have been shielding since last year so we were concerned about anyone coming into the house but they were very good at always keeping their distance and just getting on with the job in the safest way possible. Work took exactly the time they said it would. We have no hesitation in recommending this firm. Thank you Denver we are more than happy with the finished product.”

“Order large amounts once a week and food is always fab, all correct orders and piping hot. The Eggs are beautiful. The hot beef barms are to die for and I cannot recommend the salads enough. All excellent value”

“Stumbled across this place by mistake. Well, it was a great mistake because the food was amazing. Very quick, tasty and fresh. It wasn’t bland, and the bread they used was soft and fresh too, the sauces used made the shawarma extra tasty. Recommend it for sure and would definitely visit again. Not too pricey either.”

Rang in the morning and they advised if you can call in, pick one we will have it delivered in the afternoon and they were not wrong. “All the staff are welcoming and friendly. I go 1 to 2 times a week and get the same treatment. The food is always great and the latte is amazing, even when different staff members make it, it has the same consistency which is how I like my latte. If you are ever in Walkden pop in and give it a go.”

“Freshly cooked food. Went in for something to eat before going to Blackpool. Lady who owns it is very friendly. I the middle of the pandemic felt safe sitting in and eating. Cleaning was in process as we got there. Hand sanitizer available too. Would highly recommend this cafe. Right opposite the train station.”

“Lovely, clean and well presented, small, dog friendly cafe and take away. Ordered 2 spam, egg and cheese barms to take away - £6.80. They take contactless and cash. Staff lovely and polite. Barms were made fresh and took about 5 minutes. Barms were scrumptious! Bread lovely and soft, very fresh. Egg was dippy. Only slight criticism could do with a little more spam. Small step into cafe so maybe a struggle for wheelchair users.”

“Brilliant pub, quiet and peaceful, with a great history! Used to be a music hall back in the 1800's so has been there for a long time. If you want a quiet drink or catch the footie it's a great place to go. Also a great place to have meet ups and functions too! They have a nice little back room that our theatre company rehearses in from time to time and they are always very nice and accomodating! Seriously can't praise this place enough!”

“Beautiful setting and lovely spa! We’ve booked a Black Friday deal a couple of times and it’s been wonderful. I’ve also been on a hen weekend. The food is amazing and the facilities are great. Lots to do and see in the grounds. The spa is well equipped and the outdoor hydro pool is just incredible.”
