“Oldham Summer Beach 2022 Kids loved it! Recommend the wrist band so they can go on all the bounce stations without paying extra. No queues today even though weather really good. The fairground rides were cash prices additional as you would expect but the bouncy castles and slides were enough for my lot”

“Just spent the most gorgeous two days at this lovely place, making my birthday extra special! Luxurious chalet surrounded by beautiful views. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, helping make our stay as relaxing as possible. Couldn’t recommend enough!”

“Lovely holiday park. Sally and her team were superb and very professional. We stayed in one of the glamping pods. It was clean and suited us for the couple days. The environment was very quiet and calm when we were there(Easter weekend 22).Felt safe as well, frequent checks were done by security around the site. There's lots to explore in and around the area. The local Tesco is just a stone throw away. Our son enjoyed himself and that was the whole idea. Will visit this park again.”

“Great place, I’m so glad we found it this time. Google maps sends you to a road in Shaw. So ensure you type in the actual address when wanting to come here and not click directions from google :) it will save you a 20 mins drive lol Great service, food is top notch, prices are good with a great atmosphere. Definitely will be back. They have gluten free bread. Although not celiac friendly, as the kitchen is not set up for A gluten free station. They did ensure the bread was grilled away from the areas wheat had touched. Kids menu available and also a Dog menu too. The staff were really helpful.”

“Absolutely love Strinesdale foot paths and 2 large Reservoir's that allow fishing. It also has free parking and is that vast of a space you can walk round it and not bump in to anyone. Strinesdale also has a few picnic areas and amazing views out to the Pennines. There are 3 different routes you can take for that casual stroll or if you are looking to explore of the beat and track you can end up right in the hills and come out at a little farm house. All in all this is one of my favourite places to walk my dog and would recommend it to anyone.”

“It's just a lovely pub. The welcome is good, the beer is very good and the food is excellent. Four-spice chicken curry with half and half chips and rice was particularly good. Have eaten here several times over the years and the high quality has been maintained. Worth travelling some distance!”

“The park is so quiet and peaceful. For those who haven't been there yet, I highly recommend it. It has a short maze for kids to go through, a play area and a rock climbing area too. It has a Café and a small garden that you can look in to. I used to work there and we thought of many ideas. We wanted to open it up as a public place which I tried to do by inviting people in when I was there working, but now, it's like it's a bit forgotten... I don't know if the people who have access to it are still working on it or not, but it would be great if they are, because maybe after Covid, we could get together again and see how we can re-do it. I had some quite good ideas, and I think that if we start to work there again, we can see if we can open it up as a nice place for absolutely everyone, maybe mine the other people who working there ideas can still work out. “Great place to be able to leave toddler to play on her own while I drank a hot coffee. Normally have to be in the play area stopping her escaping or climbing on something she could hurt herself on. Needs better car parking spaces though.”

“The cottage is much above the standard. Very clear and tidy. The owner is very kind and helpful. The area is stanning. Lots of beautiful walking and hiking routes around. And the nearby villages are lovely. Highly recommended!”

“Visited today with my young son and couldn't be happier with the food and the service. I had the gammon which was very juicy, very well cooked and was nice and hot and my son had the lasagna with chips, salad and garlic bread which was very well presented and again, nice and hot. The portions were large and top quality food. Highly recommended. We didn't even have to wait too long. We also wanted to thank Georgia and Aneeka for looking after us, they came to our table on more than one occasion to make sure we were happy and if we wanted anything else. Assets to the team!! “We use these guys at cash trader frequently and they are always sooo polite and friendly . They don't treat you like crap like some of the others do ( cash converters & cash generators ) , they always speak to you respectfully , are prompt and give you a very decent price but not one that's too hard to repay in a couple of weeks!”

“ITS MY LOCAL, DON'T HAVE FAR TO STAGGER IF I MISTAKENLY CONSUME MORE THAN NORMAL. ALSO DODDY IS QUITE FUNNY TO TALK TO. The landlady has had a stroke and is in hospital, Doddy is struggling on.”
