“Great restaurant for a family meal! We decided to book a table for the night we arrived at a campsite close by since we knew we wouldn't want to cook after setting everything up. Food was excellent and perfect for sharing - me and my son had the hog Mac and cheese which was delicious , and the frickles were particularly awesome! Everything here seems to be generously sized and the desserts were amazing - definitely need to have frozen custard again!”

“Popped in here yesterday, Saturday. Busy. I chose the veggie pizza with my favourite veg, aubergene. It was, ABSOLUTELY SUPERB, CRISP AND DELICIOUS. THE NICEST PIZZA EVER tasted in my life, and I'm 56! Recommend to book. Staff really really friendly n nice.”

“Had a few orders from here now. Always beautifully prepared, stone fire cooked pizzas and they have a twist on the dough balls to what looks like a square pizza and then you take a closer look and its Nutella and biscoff wrapped in dough and cooked throughout. Absolutely gorgeous. Such lovely staff.”

“Been using here now for many weeks and can honestly say that the kebabs served here are excellent. The staff a very friendly and service is excellent. The kebabs are delicious and the portions huge. The kebabs here are lovely, excellent portions and lovely presentation. Food is cooked to perfection and tastes very clean. Great takeaway service with very prompt delivery.”

“I was recommended the sticky toffee pudding by oceane and what a recommendation it was fantastic! We also tried the truffle and bbq chicken which was pretty good. My little girls chicken curry was highly commended. We will be back ☺️”

“What a nice pleasant Pub. Met a friend here for dinner, and was greeted nicely with friendly staff. Phone network was not good there (not their fault) which meant we ordered at the bar instead of the App - Which is quicker, easier and friendlier anyhow. Food was good, great value for money, another reviewer stated overpriced, this was £12 for a plateful of well cooked and tasty chicken. Some people expect 5 star hotel food and pub prices. All in all, a typical Pub, yes there may be some beer stains on the carpet or a lick of paint is needed somewhere, you just need to remember it is a pub, not a restaurant. And therefore has a much better atmosphere.”

The quality of her work is first class, and her creative ideas are inspiring. Helen is a perfectionist and goes the extra mile to make sure the upcycled furniture is revitalised, both inside and out. Helen has also transformed simple pieces of pine furniture, an old fashioned book shelf, clothes horse and mirrors for me ..... no job is too small or too large for her ..... my whole house has come to life again ! “Booked ahead as we were going Sunday and know pub lunches are normally busier on Sundays. Welcomed by friendly staff, quick service on the bar, and great food choices! Large carvery plate is HUGE, so much food for just over a tenner! Will be back for carvery again!”

“Sunday Dinner in a tapas restaurant? I know but yes it was great. I was apprehensive, and generally don’t go out for Sunday Dinner as it’s always a let down compared to eating at home, but this was actually great, the Chicken was cooked to perfection, great portions, fantastic bar staff, and service, thank you James and Lillia, and Styal is a wonderful place to visit I will definitely be back with the family”
