“Stayed overnight to see Peter Kay. Lovely hotel, large room with a very comfy bed. Huge television. Couldn't beat the price either. Didn't use the pub/restaurant but it looked great and lively. Amazing location and easy to get to from the train station. Will definitely stay again.”

“It was my first visit to Door 34. Inside downstairs is quite compact, and was full when I visited last week. But there are a couple of rooms upstairs, and that is where I went. I ordered when I went in, a Cappuccino and Banana cake. As I said they were quite busy, and my order took around 25 minutes to arrive, but worth waiting for. The large Cappuccino was one of the best I have had, and the cake very nice. Staff were friendly and I enjoyed the experience in nice clean surroundings. I will definitely go again.”

“Called at Secret Sip but it was shut. Sign on the door said if closed try courtyard around back. Went around to the back and sure enough there was a courtyard and it was buzzing. Mainly long tables inside but quite roomy. Bigger than it looks from first approach. Looks like they have pop up restaurants here. Pizza the previous week and Thai on our visit. Reasonable prices but didn't try coz going for a meal to Mazzos. Quite a few beers usually but on our visit they had almost been drunk dry over the bank holiday weekend. Did try a pint of Pelaton and it was superb. Will be back just for that one beer. Staff very friendly and approachable.”

“Excellent food, nice cosy atmosphere with an open fire. This is not a standard Robinsons food pub, it has local fresh produce prepared by a good chef, with nice little extras. Staff are always polite and the best thing for us is that we can go somewhere for an excellent meal with our dog, as they welcome dogs and always ask if you want water for your dog. Since we moved to the area a couple of years ago it is our favourite place to eat out without leaving our furry friend home alone.”

The food is superb with first class flavours and presentation accompanied by excellent wine. All of this at incredibly affordable prices makes it an experience not to be missed! “First time visit to this place and had a fabulous time. The menu has a really good selection of starters and tapas dishes to choose from. As a party of 4 we all chose 3 dishes each which was plenty, the food was really tasty and cooked well. I've had tapas at other places which haven't been as good as it was here. The service was very good as we didn't have to wait long for the dishes and they all arrived together. None of us had any desserts as was comfortably full after. We had the red house wine which was really good but a little on the expensive at £19.50 a bottle. The food is reasonable priced per dish depending on your choice but all the drinks such as a glass of small brandy is quite expensive considering its in Sale. They had entertainment on, 3 guys playing Spanish music which was very good as all live. I would return as we all enjoyed the food with good service.”

“Casa is like a second home to me, my family have been going here ever since they first opened, every birthday every Christmas we are there, the food is out of this world! My favourite is the half cheese half tomato garlic bread and the tagliatelle supreme!! I could go on. The customer service is excellent they are so friendly and try to have laughs with everyone! Casa nostra is the best Italian I’ve ever been too! Even when we get it to takeaway it is just like being in the restaurant itself!”

“It's a great locals pub, The landlord is clearly trying hard! The pub has regular changing cask ales and a good choice at the bar, but if this pub is not supported like so many others all this will be wasted! Support or lose! Check opening times & go and enjoy a few drinks in a great pub.”

Initially got a chipped wine glass but when sorted the wine was beautiful and the steak out of this world. The chef was kind enough to give us the ingredients to the anchovy butter sauce that we can't wait to replicate. Not to be missed !”

“Popped in here yesterday, Saturday. Busy. I chose the veggie pizza with my favourite veg, aubergene. It was, ABSOLUTELY SUPERB, CRISP AND DELICIOUS. THE NICEST PIZZA EVER tasted in my life, and I'm 56! Recommend to book. Staff really really friendly n nice.”
