Romantic in Urmston

“We visited this restaurant with a group of friends ( a party of 8 plus 3 kids). The service was excellent the staff were very attentive and professional. The food was served very quickly with great presentation. All was very fresh too. They had great selection of starters. And mains. I highly recommend the "Mutabel" with pomegranate sauce and the Aleppo Kebab, one of the best kebabs I ever had in a restaurant. The atmosphere was great too. I will definitely be dinning there again.”

“Needed some flowers last min, visited the shop & was greeted by a lovely lady (think it was owners mom). Explained what I wanted and within 10mins I had a big beautiful bouquet of flowers. Staff was lovely and flowers were a great price. Would def recommend and use in the future.”

“An amazing day with family. The food and service was fabulous. Pigs in blankets added to my chicken roast dinner, was an extremely good choice. The music was just the right volume, not instruise. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you want a relaxed atmosphere and amazing food. The desserts were extremely good too.”

“Fantastic serloin steak for a work meeting out. Cooked perfectly with a nice intense charcoal flavour. The grilled halloumi with pesto was very nice touch, delicious. Very polite and attentive service in a comfortable environment. If I had to fault something my only grumble would be the long Island ice tea had too much lime which made the coke fizz flat and drink sharp (I am highly critical of cocktails)”

“Attentive staff, fast service and fair prices. The only disappointing thing is that I wasn't allowed to leave a tip on my card. I barely ever carry cash so sadly I couldn't leave a gratuity.”

“Genuinely some of the best fish and chips I've had and it's consistently this good every time I go. The mushy peas and tartar sauce are a little pricey but worthwhile additions too.”

“Amazing service yesterday when i went in to get some flowers for teacher presents. The lady kindly made me up 4 bunches out of 3 as i didn't have enough money left in the collection. They looked amazing and the teachers loved them. Would highly recommend for good, friendly service and beautiful fresh flowers x”

“Walked past on a few occasions and thought it look very nice from the outside! Came up for my uncles 50th and was excited when I found out the meal was booked here. Table of 17 people and everybody got food at the same time, there was no stupid wait time for drinks either and I'd say they were very busy that night so a credit to the team and management staff! As for the food....well.....wow!!!! I went for the lamb and I was not disappointed! Packed full bursting with flavour it was cooked to perfection just as I requested! All washed down with a cocktail again made to perfection! Can't fault anything about this place at all 11/10 will definitely be back!”

“Food fabulous, a little loud for the romantic occasion of my birthday but decor is lovely. A little slow for the bottle of wine and served without glasses initially but a minor error on a busy week day night. We will definitely be back with the family”

“Lovely open park, good playground for younger kids, plenty of space to give dog a run. Good community friendly feel. There is small skate ramp, 3 tennis courts, small woodland walk area, and two ornamental ponds in middle of the park. It has recently had four wheelchair enabled access picnic benches installed. There is a little scooter area designed especially for younger kids. Regular visits by local coffee van near the ponds.”

“Great food , the platter for one is excellent especially the chops and the kobedah style kebab much tastier than a normal one. We had this between two and also a chance chicken kebab for our two girls and an extra chips, hummus and there type of halloumi (not great) , we ordered extra bread which was a mistake as it was far too much which was partly down to the waiter telling us that should be fine. But we got one with the hummus so just one extra would have been fine not 3. The bread is delicious though. All in all a great meal we will be back just not as much bread next time. Plenty of food for us four. Beautiful building.”
