Romantic dinner spot in Marple

“Tonight was our first ever vist to Purple Pakora Marple. I have to say the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, the food was excellent, infact I would say it is the best Biryani I have ever had, my husbands Rogan Josh was also very tasty. Definitely will be back.”

“Excellent food, nice cosy atmosphere with an open fire. This is not a standard Robinsons food pub, it has local fresh produce prepared by a good chef, with nice little extras. Staff are always polite and the best thing for us is that we can go somewhere for an excellent meal with our dog, as they welcome dogs and always ask if you want water for your dog. Since we moved to the area a couple of years ago it is our favourite place to eat out without leaving our furry friend home alone.”

“Called in 4 days ago when everywhere was snowed under and the roads were deadly with ice! The absolutely lovely landlady came rushing to the door and guided us into the warmth. She had one of the staff make a hot coffee for my husband free! I bought a lager and lime which was just perfect. While we were there two paramedics called in to use the toilets; and again, the landlady made them both a cup of coffee free of charge! What a lovely, down to earth lady! The other staff were friendly too. Really nice, traditional pub with wonderfully welcoming staff. Highly recommended! ☺️”

“I arranged a surprise birthday get together for my husband’s birthday on 23rd October. Lauren was fantastic in helping me organise this & sectioned off the room behind the bar for family & friends. I ordered sandwiches for everyone who attended. They were delicious & everyone enjoyed them. All our family & friends agreed that the Norfolk Arms is a great pub, with great staff & a great atmosphere. Thanks for making the surprise party really special! Highly recommend!”

“Excellent, the cleanliness of the whole place is second to none, you know your on to a good thing with nice clean fresh menus. Staff really attentive and polite. “What an amazing pub and eatery! Been in a few times,the new chef has some tricks up his sleeves , had the steak burger and my girlfriend had the lasagne, probably the least daring choice on the menu and still blew us away! 100% recommend eating here, stayed for a few hours afterwards for drinks too! Staff were brilliant too! Highly recommend!”
