“This has to be the most authentic Indian Food place in all of Manchester. The owner is actually from Lucknow, India. She makes great Veg as well as Non-Veg dishes. Try their Chicken Curry with rice, or Chicken Biryani, plain old Rajma Chawal or straight up Aloo Paratha. Everything is authentic and the real taste of India.”

“This was our first visit to the Bengal Curry Pot, so it had to be right because we were celebrating a birthday. From stepping into the premises we were greeted with smiling faces and very attentive staff. This was a surprisingly large dining area, with spacious comfortable seating. A selection of tasteful Bollywood music created a perfect atmosphere. The food was indeed excellent as was the service. The cost was very reasonable. We will be returning.”

“I’ve been advised not to get Indian food from up north as the taste just isn’t it, however, I still decided to go ahead and order from here. Got a chicken biryani and lamb biryani both with madras sauces. The food was perfect, we all enjoyed it and portions were great too. One thing I would advise is putting your prices up, it’s too cheap for what it is and especially your just eat and uber menu. They need to be 30% higher to make up for the fees they take! Inshallah you do well, will come back to have this again when I come up north.”

“Didn't expect this from this place. Mrs was talking about going there for a long time. We went during the afternoon, it wasn't busy so we got seated straight away. The atmosphere and decor was amazing, I loved how the new modern glass building was connected to the old town hall building really blended in well. Service was as expected but the food well my burger meal was delicious hot and just hit the spot. The Mrs breakfast and cake looked good also and she wasn't disappointed”

“Oh my god, this is the best kebab I've ever eaten in my entire life. I'm from out of the area so looked up local takeaways on just eat and I'm glad I chose to order here. The meat is like nothing I've ever tasted and the guys behind the counter couldn't have been anymore friendlier. Even threw in a free drink for my son. “Being new to the area, I thought I'd give this place a try and wow what a great Chinese takeaway! Food was delivered on time and all aspects of it were absolutely spot on, not greasy and tasteless at all (as I find many Chinese takeaways usually are). “Lees Spice Lounge is by far the best Indian restaurant in Oldham. Been there well over 100 times and never had a bad experience. Staff are always friendly and attentive. The food is so good. It’s a pleasure to work your way through the menu trying all the different curries. My current favourite (and the one in the photo) is Naga Jal-Fry - with a keema naan bread. Be sure to phone ahead for a table at weekend, because it’s not surprising that they get very busy.”
