“I've been to this pub a few years ago & found it to be a nice pub with a good carvery. I went there a couple of weeks ago & found it friendly, updated & the new owners trying so hard to make it work. Food lovely and staff helpful. I find some of the recent reviews picky & a little bit OTT? Not sure what their agenda is but I'll definitely be back tokeep a new business going!”

“Visiting the area on a Friday night and saw good reviews online. Had a box with two proteins. Very nicely cooked, very tasty, and full of flavour. Good size portions but not too much that will get wasted. Well recommended. Will definitely visit again when in the area.”

“Ordered five meals, everyone was dead pleased with what they got. Burgers are big and tasty without being too heavy and stodgy. Fries are fat and delicious; the seasoning was lovely. Oh and the wings! Had both buffalo and BBQ. If you're in a quandary and not sure which to get, just treat yourself and get both. Staff were cheerful and attentive, shop was clean. “(Oct 2022 update) Since last review new landlord now in situ. All change under the new team! Certainly more or additional televisions showing football when I called in. This is still a great local pub in Cheadle village. A great range of Hyde's beers at a very reasonable prices. Well worth trying to see the changes & sample some excellent beer.”

“OK so the first time to use under the new owners I was very impressed with the choices on menu all the food I can highly recommend as a old customer I was worried by the change you must not compare this is totally new and still one of the best Indian takeaway around keep up the high standards.”

“Came to the shakedown in Cheadle and wasn’t let down. Burgers were incredible, Cajun fries with spicy Mayo were amazing and the milkshakes seem to last forever and taste really good. Best fast food joint I’ve ever been to I could not recommend more.”

“Great pub this. We only called in for an hour and stayed all night. Nice to see really good entertainment on. The Committee band really worked hard and played all the dance floor hits. The girl singer was amazing and they seemed to be on all night. Let us know when next they are on and we’ll be there. The staff were very polite and really got into the music. Great vibe. “Kebabs are delicious. Had a couple of Currys here and also really good. Friendly staff too. It's a very classic British Indian Restaurant (BIR) serving all the typical/classic BIR cuisine. Good stuff”
