“We thoroughly enjoyed our 1st visit to The Wycliffe Hotel, Stockport this weekend. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Our room was spotlessly clean and a very good size. The bed was very comfortable. We ate evening meal at the restaurant Excellent Italian food. A very good choice of dishes. Breakfast also excellent. Good choices. Cooked to order. Deliciously hot. We will definitely stay here again. We can highly recommend this hotel.”

“Fabulous cinema. Not the cheapest but easily worth the little extra cost compared to others! Membership saves lots over the year too. Great selection of wine with real glasses and tasty authentic pizzas. Reclining seats and double 'love seats' too :-)”

“Great restaurant for a family meal! We decided to book a table for the night we arrived at a campsite close by since we knew we wouldn't want to cook after setting everything up. Food was excellent and perfect for sharing - me and my son had the hog Mac and cheese which was delicious , and the frickles were particularly awesome! Everything here seems to be generously sized and the desserts were amazing - definitely need to have frozen custard again!”

“Gorgeous pub tucked away off the main road. Food here is amazing and the staff are so lovely. Try the Sunday lunch nut get there early as it gets busy. Also the homemade lasagne is to die for”

“A beautiful Little hidden gem in Cheadle village. We ate here for the very first time and I can honestly say this has been the nicest Indian street food we have had in a very long time! Tasted so fresh and full of flavour it didn’t disappoint! We will certainly be coming again! Also the service was lovely and warm and we were very well taken care of. “This place is my go-to Indian in Manchester/ Greater Manchester. The quality, portion size and taste of food plus the level of customer service I've had regardless of whether I've gone in a group of two or twenty (I've done both and would do again) is unmatched by any other place I've been to. I recently had their banquet set menu in a group of 20. Not one of us could find fault in any of our dishes, which were very generous and tasted absolutely delicious. Can't wait to come back!”

“Three of us called in this cafe for our lunch . We sat at a table upstairs and were served quite quickly . The chargrilled chicken was really nice and you got plenty of it with rice and side salad Also I had a cheese, ham and onion panini which came with chips . We ordered Halloumi fries between us ( they were little oblong pieces of Halloumi rather than fries shape ) which was a nice change and were lovely . I would say the only thing to improve the service is to not clear the table before everyone has finished eating and also ask if finished before just taking the plates . I would go again and recommend this place .”

“We dropped by here for lunch arriving at 12 noon. Already this venue was popular but had plenty of seating to accommodate everyone. There were plenty of staff who were friendly knowledgable and created a good atmosphere. A real highlight from the kitchen was the Gluten Free Menu. It was extensive and included a gluten free version of the majority of the main menu. In addition to the GF menu there was a vegan menu and they also catered for those avoiding specific allergens. An excellent GF beer was also available. It was a real pleasure to eat & drink here and we will be visiting again soon.”
