“As a HongKongers, we had a lot of authentic Japanese cuisine in asia and Japan. I would say their foods were amazing (and authentic)and by far the best sushi in here. And staff were super nice and friendly, kept smiling on their face even they were super busy. I ‘ll definitely visit again and recommend to my all of my friends as well: )”

“Hidden gem. Small place on fringe of Bolton Centre. Had a delicious miso soup plus spicy salmon w salad and rice. Nice portion size and good vfm. Very friendly staff. I will be back as lots on menu that looks mouth-watering!”

“Short version? Fantastic south Indian food, brilliant service and warm surroundings. Totally different to the one that was there before. Long version. Some of the best south Indian food me and the wife have ever had. This restaurant used to be something totally different called monal, we are local just being down the road. Tried it when it was monal, really dissappinting. Bad food and service, horrible atmosphere and very expensive. This is now under totally new ownership we were glad to find when we went in. We took in the menu and ordered a bit of everything that took our fancy. The curries we had were EXCELLENT. The naan, the onion bajis, the rice... All of it was high quality, cooked with care and fresh! So glad to have this place on our doorstep. The best bit? The Dosa! Incredible food. The whole place has a family feel and everyone was very welcoming. Thanks for a lovely meal, see you again soon.”

“Visited the restaurant last night and had a great time as always. The food was great and came very quickly. Our server Anya was so lovely and helpful, as she is every time we visit. I can't fault the vegan food as that's what I order and it's all great. I ordered a Blueberry spice juice which was lovely and the vegan teriyaki "chicken" ramen.”

“We came across this restaurant as we couldn’t get in a different one nearby and were so happy to find it, the food was excellent, calamari to start which was shared as a very large portion, mains of chicken and crab ravioli then sharing a lovely lemon cheesecake with ice cream, we also had some nice wines, the staff were friendly and attentive, the decor was nice and clean, a reasonable price for the food and service,will definitely be returning the next time we are in the area and bringing along family to enjoy as well.”

“La Scala is ALWAYS the place to go for delicious food, friendly staff and a relaxed environment. The staff always make an extra effort with all of their new and returning guests and always offer a personalised service. I have never had a meal here that has been less than sublime and at a reasonable price too! I could write a novel with the great things I have to say about La Scala but the proof is in the eating... Book a table and enjoy, you will be spoiled when you do!”

“Came here on Valentines day at around 6pm. Nice and quiet. Food was delicious and the service was impeccable. Really good quality food and really enjoyed it all.”

“I have both eaten in and ordered takeaway. The quality of food is the best around, its restaurant quality Chinese rather than takeaway quality. You pay for the quality. Portion sizes slightly smaller than takeaway Chinese but double the taste so its not an issue. Staff are always friendly and it's a nice atmosphere. Always great to go and watch a film next door at Vue before or after.”

“Came Saturday 3rd December for our Christmas do. We all had food and drinks. It was very busy so our food was miss ordered but once it came it was out of this world. Most of us had loaded fries. Because of the delay we got a discount. The food prices were really reasonable. Would definitely recommend.”

“Ordered 2x from here now had a normal kebab and 2x special kebab and a lamb tikka starter. This was the first takeaway I ordered from in Bolton and I’ll be honest I was absolutely blown away, first we started on the special kebab and oh my was it mind blowingly good morning only wish we started on the normal kebab because as incredible as it was it was blown out of the water by the special but equally satisfying. Missed out on the chips on the first order but the second ordered a regular chips and was presented with a buffet of chips larger than TCBS although on my own and couldn’t make a dent was pleasantly surprised and better than most of the takeaways you’ll find around. 1000% will order again and can’t wait to try other options in the future! Keep up the good cooking lads! Late delivery on first order but completely worth it and 30 minutes early on the second so can’t complain was hot and all the flavour!”

“A group of 18 (women) of us visited this restaurant yesterday as an end of year meal and I can honestly say this place was extremely accommodating to our needs. We were allowed to sit in a segregated area of the restaurant where we were freely allowed to sit without the worry of men freely mixing. All waitering staff were excellent too and did not enter the place we were seated but rather left the food outside the dining area for us to simply place on the table with the exception of the hot tawas, However prior warning was given so veils could be put on (if needed). We pre-ordered 3 special tawas and 3 chefs special biriyani (2 lamb/1chkn) all which was of amazing quality and taste. The tawas came with an option of naan /roti and we opted for naan . Which were fresh and tasty and complimented the food well. I would highly recommend both. The food was ready on arrival and arrived soon after all party was seated , piping hot and fresh. The portion sizes were perfect , and we had some left to take home too. All in all, a fantastic meal out and I would highly recommend to families and large parties/groups. I would like to express my compliments the chef and to brother Yasar who took my order and arranged the segregation and partiton facilities for us and the waiters who respected this too.”

“I was taken to oodles by a friend who's been several times before. As I normally don't try a new place without recommendations I was expecting something good. Place was packed out, but service was lightning quick! It's a simple idea, but it works really well. You pick the small, medium or large box then add sides and mains. Medium box was packed full and I struggled to finish it so you're going to have to be hungry if you go for the large box. Food was tasty and starters were just as good. Highly recommended for anyone who likes Chinese food especially if you're in a rush!”
