Relaxing situation in Stockport

“This was our first escape room experience. We loved it!! The whole set-up was very well run from the briefing video at the start to the photo and lovely hot chocolate at the end. The staff were great. We did Merlin's Magic Academy and it was just at our level (Us two plus our 15 and 10 year old sons) ...we almost made it out within the hour :) Plenty of help during the challenge if required but it flows very well. Looking forward to returning and doing another room soon.”

“Worth every minute of the afternoon trip from Piccadilly to this cracking area for beer shops both takeaway and drink on premises. Staff very friendly thou shame it was an all London tap takeover”

“Went there today at 4pm. Ordered soup for my mum and I had prawn cocktail plus two roast dinners lamb it was absolutely delicious plus chocolate fudge cake and cheese cake will definitely be going again. Prices good for the quality of food.”

“Load of us stayed her for a few nights for a family wedding and we had the best time ever. The staff are amazing, went above and beyond for our help and needs. the rooms are fresh and clean. Vending machine, extra tea and coffee etc, clean bedding and towels all at reception in case you need more. Pity the old rectory didn’t have the same standards.”

“We were very satisfied with Zizzi. Everything was very tasty, fresh and super quick. We did not wait long to get our order on our table. Staff were polite and willing to help you. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very good, it is very well decorated and you can actually see the kitchen and the pizza oven! It is a bit pricey for the portions you get but you get compensated by the quality of the food. Definitely worth it.”

“This was a quick sleep stopover between flights and I didn't have much of an expectation due to a recent stopover at another Travelodge. However, it was very clean and well maintained yet this is rated 2star?? (I stayed at Park Royal, where the carpet in the room was disgusting and toilet wouldn't flush, yet this was rated 4 stars!!!) Here at Stockport nothing was too much trouble as we checked in at 1am after a flight delay and this continued the following morning with excellent customer service from all staff. Definitely brought Travelodge back up the booking ladder for a stay in Manchester anyway.”

“What a pleasant surprise on our first visit. Delightful Art Deco building. Went to see an old Cary Grant film. Half an hour of live organ music before the film. The organ then descends into the pit. National anthem after the film. Great experience.”

“It's another groom for my dog Edgar. I am really impressed every time he gets out! He's so handsome! I can't afford 59£ every month but twice a year or 3 times a year he gets pampered at the Groom Room. The attention to the details makes a difference! I tried to go to some other cheaper groomers who asked for a price, then charged some more, the parfume they applied was horrible, fur still wet, tail not done, bum not done, paws not done ...even though I requested. Today Edgar looks neat, wears a subtle fragrance, desheded, spic& span! Will choose the same place in early spring. Thanks”

“Needed to change name receptionist was very helpful in doing this for me. Dentist explain in an easy manner everything she was doing and also what I needed to continue doing till my next visit, all the staff were very cheerful and pleasant made my visit easier”

“OMG so I have had Botox and filler (lips) on a few occasions but I’ve never had the amazing service from any other practitioner than Adam! I first went in to get my lip filler dissolved due to just not being happy with it (done with another practitioner). Adam immediately put me at ease and I felt supremely comfortable in his presence. He has an extremely calming vibe and this actually makes what could well be a scary experience into a really serene experience! I can’t recommend Adam enough and urge you to book an appointment if you are considering any of the treatments he offers. His practice is incredibly welcoming and comfortable. Adam is super approachable and extremely easy to chat to and is obviously very knowledgable in the world of filers and Botox … it is also very reassuring knowing he comes from a nursing background. I have visited again since my first visit for a check up (plus Botox & filler) and it felt like I was going to see good friends (you have to meet the super lovely James too!!!) I applaud great service especially in this industry as it’s so important to feel at ease with your practitioner. I can say with great confidence if you visit Adam you will no doubt have the same wonderful experience ☺️ Keep up the AMAZING WORK Adam P.S he has also done Botox and lip filler on me and I couldn’t be happier with the results.”

His blow drys are amazing, you feel transformed when you walk out of the salon. It's actually a pleasure to watch such a professional who is passionate about what they do. It's a fun experience and never takes hours (as it always used to with previous salons!).
