Unlike most Italian restaurants they offer a range of veal dishes which are excellent along with an very extensive menu of other dishes. They are always busy due to quality and value for money and you need to book.”

“Called in 4 days ago when everywhere was snowed under and the roads were deadly with ice! The absolutely lovely landlady came rushing to the door and guided us into the warmth. She had one of the staff make a hot coffee for my husband free! I bought a lager and lime which was just perfect. While we were there two paramedics called in to use the toilets; and again, the landlady made them both a cup of coffee free of charge! What a lovely, down to earth lady! The other staff were friendly too. Really nice, traditional pub with wonderfully welcoming staff. Highly recommended! ☺️”

“Always worth the wait. The best and freshest sushi I’ve ever had. If you expect the same ‘fast’ service from chain run business’s then don’t order from here as it’s family run and they focus on the quality. Great value for what you get. One of my favourite places to eat. Thankyou sushi haus”

Been in a few times,the new chef has some tricks up his sleeves , had the steak burger and my girlfriend had the lasagne, probably the least daring choice on the menu and still blew us away! 100% recommend eating here, stayed for a few hours afterwards for drinks too!
