“I really love the salon since it became the Sanctuary. It’s beautiful and peaceful. The staff are brilliant, so welcoming and professional. Made a last minute decision to come for Sunday roast, and despite the restaurant being fully booked, they were more than happy to accommodate us in the bar area. “I’ve been using the PROPER BARBERS since they opened for business about a year and a half ago, the service you received is first class and the surroundings are state of the art . In my job as a Toastmaster/Master of Ceremonies you have to look very smart so before my wedding assignments I always go and see the boss of PROPER BARBERS Hemn and after he has performed his fantastic barber skills I the leave the shop with a spring in my step, a new man! Definitely recommend this Barbers Shop!!”

“Best hotel I have ever stayed at. Reception staff are lovely and they offer room service. All of their food is delicious from the restaurant and when delivered to rooms. They have a hot tub as well as a pool (though they don't allow kids in it). Well cleaned, baths and showers are well maintained but you may need to ask for a fan in the summer as the windows don't open fully. Only thing to watch out for (especially for business travellers) is if you require wifi access for more than 1 hour, you have to pay extra.”

“Best fish and chips I’ve had outside of going to a restaurant for a long time. We have an ‘award winning’ chippy closer to us but much prefer the Winton Bar. Freshly cooked fish, and you can order small fish which for me is more than enough. They lightly batter them on request and they’re cooked to perfection, nice crispy batter and lovely chips (2 small portions enough for 3 of us) not all hard and bitty like I’ve had elsewhere. Friendly staff too.”

“Went for the New Year's evening night and it was amazing. The bar staff were amazing and the live singers were brilliant, they covered music from the 40s all the way up to the 90s. If you are looking for event singers then these sisters are the ones to book. Picture attached has the info.”

“Came in today for some snacks after a walk round Worsley. First let me say…. The staff in here never disappoint they’re so welcoming to both me and my children every time I come in. The foods lovely as always, service can’t be faulted. Sat with the children and they come over to see if they’d like any colours and stuff. They speak to you in a friendly manner and the whole atmosphere is so relaxed it’s just a good vibe. We only had snacks today but we often visit and I’ve never had an issue with food. Because my daughter wanted some of the nachos but doesn’t like the sauces they even delivered them separate and then only put cheese on half of them for us - nothings too much trouble. Can’t wait to visit again for a roast!!”

“Lovely place to stop off for a drink. Had a lovely walk through Worsley woods with the dog and stopped off for a pint. The dog was offered the doggy menu and chose ice cream. Extremely friendly staff and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Doggy friendly too!”
