“Hosts very welcoming as I arrived late and they organised a taxi for me . Bed was very comfortable clean and tidy room and bathroom. I was in awe at the view from the breakfast room / lounge - amazing views of the Diglea valley - sheep and lambs in fields - hens clucking around the car park . I chose my breakfast which was freshly cooked whilst I admired the views and peace . The hosts were kind and gave lots of information about the history of the area . A definite recommended from me .”

We tried a lot of dishes and I can say that this is definitely a higher end Indian, not drowned in sauces, these dishes were well balanced, full of flavour and spiced well. “Vibrant area with plenty of restaurants. Arndale centre towers adjacent to the corn exchange which does not have a dedicated car park. Parking can be a nightmare for first timers. The adjacent shopping malls offer paid parking at a premium so allow some time to navigate the maze of road works, one way streets and the short walk to your destination.”

“Amazing place, perfect hidden gem in the heart of Manchester. The room was perfect, with vaulted ceilings, a king plus size bed, massive TV, and a Tea and resting area. The morning breakfast included was delicious as well. Elliott went out of his way to make our stay a remarkable one. I highly recommend staying here.”

“Cannot fault this place. Room was perfect, spotless and had everything we needed - including an iron, hairdryer plus extras like bath robes. Breakfast each morning was lovely, lots of choice and fresh made. We had room on the 16th floor so night time was just beautiful. Nothing was a problem for staff who were chatty and friendly even when it was super busy. Would most definitely stay here again.”

“My partner and myself have just returned from a fantastic 2 course meal at this little treasure of a pub. The 3 for £10 starters were presented beautifully and were delicious, and our main courses were equally impressive. The portions were extremely generous, the landlord and the young lady on the bar were extremely friendly and helpful, the chef was lovely and everything was just perfect. One of the best meals out we've had for a long time!”

“We have stayed at this PI regularly for about 15 years so that we can visit family. Even though team members have changed, it is still staffed by a great team of friendly and helpful staff and the rooms are spotlessly clean. Thank you all! However, over the last couple of years, a very clear and "uncomfortable" demarcation has evolved between this PI and the associated restaurant. The restaurant has extremely rigid rules for eating times etc. and enforces them in a forthright manner... it makes the whole hotel experience unpleasant. We prefer to eat at the great Café in Tesco, a short walk away. The staff are really lovely and the food is good - far less stressful.”

“We went to the Manchester airport Clayton Hotel to meet international guests who stayed at the hotel overnight before returning home... as a family of 5 we were welcomed and served as equal to all the guests and all our requirements were catered for with politeness and willingness. The restaurant area was clean and airy with lovely toilets... would definitely recommend!... food prices are on the High end but portion sizes are generous!”

“Anybody who loves their dog will appreciate how daunting it can sometimes be to go away and leave your dog. My dogs are my babies and so when it comes to going on holiday, I will only settle for the best care for them. Fiona is fantastic. From the first time when she came to visit my two dogs, it was clear to me that she loved them and was going to give them the care and attention which they need. My two love going and staying with Fiona and Marley. I am always kept updated with a text message and the occasional picture whilst I am away on holiday which takes away the stress of knowing that they are ok. I cannot recommend Fiona more highly- My dogs love her.”

Rooms are lovely and clean and well stocked with the normal tea, coffee etc Breakfast is excellent, so much choice and cooked to order. 5 minute walk to Dunham Massey and lovely homely pub next door with a real coal fire”

“It was my birthday meal with my family and they made us feel really welcome. Food was amazing, service was excellent, staff were so friendly. I had a happy birthday song played for me and an amazing piece of chocolate cake with a candle. Was really really nice. Definitely will go back there again. The team catered for over 360 people on the night and we are pleased to say that the feedback from our members was extremely complimentary.
