“Lovely old fashioned pub in Altrincham where you can have a pint and chat with people without the distraction of phones. The organic beer is a must try and the stout is also very nice. The staff is very helpful and polite. They don't take card payments so remember to bring some cash”

“New to the area and we decided to come in on saturday morning, the girls on the bar were so lovely and made sure we were well looked after that we decided to pop in on sunday as well and to our suprise the same two members, Jen and Chloe were there. They really made us feel welcome and made excellent drink recommendations. Will definitely be returning”

“Great pub, I traveled from America, had a long train ride to my hotel and the Sawyer’s Arms was my first stop in England. What an experience: it’s a beautiful old school pub in the middle of Deansgate, with very reasonable prices, good food and pint selection and the staff was very courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. I ended up returning several times during my stay and I look forward to doing the same when I return to Manchester.”

The sharing platters are devine! The extra care and attention given to our 3 year old was great and she enjoyed the experience as much as we did. Very highly recommended for a family meal out.”
