“Having walked the canal from Radcliffe to Moses Gate, I was in need of a pint. Very happy to have found this pub, friendly staff and patrons, excellent service. A proper pub. The prices were more than reasonable too!”

“Lovely old fashioned pub in Altrincham where you can have a pint and chat with people without the distraction of phones. The organic beer is a must try and the stout is also very nice. The staff is very helpful and polite. They don't take card payments so remember to bring some cash”

“We were far from home and hot and thirsty my husband bought a pint of beer and I ordered an orange squash, the young barman was very kind he didn't charge me and went out of his way to get some ice and ensure it was ok.”

“New to the area and we decided to come in on saturday morning, the girls on the bar were so lovely and made sure we were well looked after that we decided to pop in on sunday as well and to our suprise the same two members, Jen and Chloe were there. “I was with a young Ghanaian girl, soaked from the rain. We wers welcomed inside, had a coke and a taxi was called for us. The people were so friendly and helpful, knowing they would not make money out of us. I will defiantly return here.”

“Great pub, I traveled from America, had a long train ride to my hotel and the Sawyer’s Arms was my first stop in England. What an experience: it’s a beautiful old school pub in the middle of Deansgate, with very reasonable prices, good food and pint selection and the staff was very courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. I ended up returning several times during my stay and I look forward to doing the same when I return to Manchester.”

I look forward to going there every weekend, they not only told us about the meal deals for the week, but also told us about the discounted dessert value meal, anyone who placed an order with us inquired about our allergies, which was a first-time for us. extremely skilled, we would certainly return because both the food and the beer were excellent.”

“We used the reception room at the back which was lovely, decor is modern an looks newly refurbished. Industrial look with scaffolding pole and planks to make the table, comfy chairs. Everything was super clean. Staff very friendly and constantly looking after us.”

“Great sports pub! The atmosphere is brilliant on a big match day. Flags up in the window, sport event board outside, bunting and plenty of choice for good viewing! The large projector and black out blinds make for a fab viewing experience. Best experience I’ve had so far. All the staff seemed welcoming and friendly.
