“This was our first escape room experience. We loved it!! The whole set-up was very well run from the briefing video at the start to the photo and lovely hot chocolate at the end. The staff were great. We did Merlin's Magic Academy and it was just at our level (Us two plus our 15 and 10 year old sons) ...we almost made it out within the hour :) Plenty of help during the challenge if required but it flows very well. Looking forward to returning and doing another room soon.”

“Great laid back cinema with comfy seating. You can get Pizza and beer to take into the film, perfect! Has an arcade and ten pin bowling attached and always has a great atmosphere! Staff are friendly and love dressing up for the latest releases! There were some sights for Avatar!”

“A fantastic pub decorated beautifully. There's a lovely conservatory to have your meal too. I had the carvery. There was about 5 different meat choices and huge Yorkshire puddings. Pigs in blankets are available at an extra charge. There's a great selection of vegetables. Lovely roast potatoes, boiled potatoes, mushy peas, cauliflower cheese, broccoli, mixed vegetables. 3 types of gravy. Vegetarian, meaty gravy and gravy with peppercorns. The usual sauces are available, apple, cranberry, mint. Our server was Marc who was just delightful. Me and my friend will definitely be coming back.”

Been in a few times,the new chef has some tricks up his sleeves , had the steak burger and my girlfriend had the lasagne, probably the least daring choice on the menu and still blew us away! 100% recommend eating here, stayed for a few hours afterwards for drinks too! “The staff are fantastic at this hotel. I stayed with my dog and nothing was too much trouble. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a bit of noise from some of the other rooms but nothing too bad. Mainly young people enjoying themselves so it quietened down after a minute or so.”

“Did our tour Saturday morning, Gary the tour guide was brilliant and really entertaining, right balance of humour and information, the brewery has the historical and brand new brewing equipment which makes it stand out as a great tour, we finished off in the Arden Arms to sample some of the drinks we heard about. Sad to hear the Unicorn Brewery is moving to new premises and from April next year these tours will not continue.”

“Excellent food, nice cosy atmosphere with an open fire. This is not a standard Robinsons food pub, it has local fresh produce prepared by a good chef, with nice little extras. Staff are always polite and the best thing for us is that we can go somewhere for an excellent meal with our dog, as they welcome dogs and always ask if you want water for your dog. Since we moved to the area a couple of years ago it is our favourite place to eat out without leaving our furry friend home alone.”
