“100% recommend to this salon. I am very pleased with the service of Ivan and Bobo. This was my first time to be here from another city and they were very patient and friendly to me. Since I came in, they served me friendly with a drink, they helped me to keep my stuffs in the locker and explain to me what I am going to do today. They were so professional and explained all the details that never let me feel any impatient during the time. The price is worth and I feel very happy and comfortable in this place. They dyed my hair and got the colours exactly what I want. Definitely will come back again and thank you very much”

“Its like a big white container sitting on top of the NCP multi story parking...but the oddities stop here. The hotel is amazing, new rooms, clean and quite. The self check-in was great. The parking is ample and located on the 8th floor. Very clean and safe. The hotel stay enables you to get a 24 hr parking for flat rate of 10. The location is very central to the universities.”

“As soon as you enter the venue you are welcomed by a lovely relaxing smell which is throughout the building to the rooms. The staff greeted us and let us store our luggage until check in time. We came back after getting lunch at a spot around the corner, early check in was not available. The room was really big - we booked the standard room - and decor was 10/10. Really chic and industrial. Love that you have a fridge in your room and given nice water and coffee/tea selections. We did not dine in the restaurant unfortunately, however it looked and smelled great with a really chilled atmosphere. The only thing I could suggest to enhance our stay would be if there was a 2nd mirror in the room as it was a struggle for us both to get ready together. Also, the kettle was quite an odd choice for the rest of the room being so well decorated... it was just an old black plastic one (just a small point to make but it didn't effect our stay). Will be back. The location was perfectly handy for getting around the city. Right beside China Town and the Gay Village.”

“My partner and I stayed at the Whitworth Locke for five days and Sanjay and the staff were very kind and attentive. The room was spacious--if a bit dark--and packed full of all kitchen items plus all the coffee, milk and sugar caffeine addicts like me need. The room accents were a lovely touch. I appreciated the 24-h gym. We will be staying here again. The staff at the front desk are exceptional in their customer service. I am awarding the hotel five stars, yet on one night (a Monday, if you can believe it) a party or reception of some kind with a DJ was thumping till 1 a.m. When we met with the reception staff about this--because we had been told that the busy bar right underneath our room would be instantly quiet at 11 p.m. (which it always was)--we were informed that the event was a private one held by the hotel's own manager or owner or someone with an intimate connection to the place, and lowering the volume or at least toning down the thumping bass was out of their control. I would like to inform the party host that your guests do not like to lie awake until 1 a.m. or they will cease to be future guests. In spite of this, all the extras, including the spacious room and the amenities and staff still rate our stay there with five stars.”

“A triple celebration found us heading for the Taverna. Although we had not booked ahead, the staff kindly accommodated us. The atmosphere was buzzing! Several languages could be heard amongst the diners. The food was divine and the selection of Armenian wines etc interesting. Look forward to returning.”

“I came here for my hen do last night and had a fantastic night. The food is fabulous, lost of delicious and authentic dishes and excellent value for money. The entertainment is fabulous and I broke my shoe while dancing around the room. They waiter even fixed it up for me before we left. His sense of humour was also great as he joined in with our hen do activities at times. Would highly reccomend.”

“Amazing! Came for my dads 60th and the staff went above and beyond! The food was perfect, just a shame they don’t have a children’s menu but no drama! Everyone left happy! Food is a little expensive but we’ll worth it! Was 14 of us and the bill came to £522 including drinks and service charge. Definitely recommend”

“Our favourite pub. Great range of drinks including Beavertown. Good choice of food and vegetarian options such as a halloumi burger. Very lively atmosphere at the weekends and tend to have live music which you can usually dance to. Weekdays are great for beers and catching up with friends. Staff are really friendly (both bar staff and weekend bouncers). You can even feel comfortable stopping by for a Bailey's coffee on your own as the customers always seem to be friendly as well. Best pub in Manchester.”

“Came to Manchester to see the Beths. When that was cancelled at short notice I met up with a mate and his wife to see their daughter in the band "Brand New Legs" at Night People. Lovely, smart venue with a great vibe. Bar well positioned on one side and a handy step up down the left hand side for the vertically challenged! Reminded me of the sugar mill in Hanley minus the sticky floor!”

“Highly recommend this salon! I came in at 4pm on a Sunday evening hoping to get a much needed haircut and the team managed to fit me in. Ray sat me down and was so welcoming and friendly. He asked what I wanted to do with my hair. My hair is super frizzy and I’ve had a lot of hair thinning over the years which I feel super self conscious about. He advised me that layers would give some body to my hair and I wouldn’t have to cut off too much of the ends - which I was delighted about as I didn’t want to cut my hair too short. I proceeded to get my hair washed by a lovely lady who was really caring and made sure that the temperature of the water was just right. She even gave me an amazing head massage! I sat back down and Ray sectioned my hair and showed me how much he would take off. He cut off a bit and asked if I was okay with it. He added in some round layers to my hair which I really wanted and fixed up my failed attempt at curtain bangs. Ray took his time and made sure everything was perfect! He blow dried my hair and even added rollers for some extra volume. I absolutely love the end result. Thanks so much for your time and patience with me! I paid £40 for a wash, cut and blow dry - which is such an incredible price for all the effort and hard work Ray put in. It’s a shame I don’t live in Manchester but I’m tempted to come up every 3 months to get a trim! Thanks Ray and the team.”

“I had my daughters 4th birthday party here & when I say they went above and beyond, it was really special! I had booked the whole place out & the females who were working were amazing!! Helped me with all the decoration, setting the tables up, welcoming the guests, helping the children, setting up the children’s tables/parties. I had also ordered catering food for the adults, and the staff here has set it all up for me & made sure everything was perfect the whole way through the evening. I would definitely recommend Jungle J’s for parties, my daughter had the best time ever & all our guests had such a lovely time. Thank you so so much !!!”
