They were kind enough to open the restaurant just for us and our guests for the afternoon. We had thalis and Manish was happy to tailor the menu to meet all our guests dietary requirements. Everyone loved the food which was cooked fresh, was authentic and was full of flavour. The staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough to help, they even let us do speeches and perform a song and joined in with the celebrations. “Gorgeous setting for a meal during the day after a walk but equally lovely in the evenings. Traditional English pub with a great history, tied in to the local mining museum. Open fires in the colder months making it such a cozy setting and lovely outdoor area for warmer months. My most recent visit was after a change of landlord/lady. The food really delicious with great service. I'm vegan and had a really fantastic choice of options. My omnivore friends were equally delighted with their meals. Dog and child friendly.”
