“Went in because I was sick of my overgrown hair that was refusing to be tamed. I asked for a 2 on the sides and a 5 on the top. The owner said to me "Fiiiive????" and I said yes, and then he questioned me again before telling me that in his opinion that was too short and that a scissor cut would look better. I went with his suggestion, but I'm sure if I had said I wanted it, he would have done it. I have always asked hairdressers for their opinion on my hair but they never want to give it, so I appreciated this. The attention to detail is great - guy clearly knows his hair too. Decent prices (£10).”

“I visited Jori to make an initial enquiry and was advised to email with details. I had a pretty vague idea which she developed and came up with a stunning full colour artwork within a couple of days. A week later I was booked in and the job done. Her time guesstimate was spot on. Very relaxed, very professional and to my amazement the end result was even more detailed than the original artwork. She exceeded all expectations, I cant recommend her highly enough.”

“Great experience yesterday with Vegan Steve. We had discussed the design prior to my appointment but he made sure I was still happy with it before starting. I went in for 2 tattoos but couldn't come to a decision on the second one. Rather than letting me go ahead with something I want sure about, he advised me to go away and think about it which I thought was decent of him. The studio is really clean and the artists were all very friendly. Another nice point for inclusiveness is they ask on the consent form what your preferred pronouns are. Was a nice touch. Highly recommend the place and I will be back for more.”

“It's been a fantastic journey for the Cibus team, and their Levenshulme restaurant strides out ahead of the pack, offering a sophisticated dining experience. The first notable point is how much this doesn't feel like a Levenshulme location but more aligned with Manchester dining venues. The lighting is low and creates an intimate atmosphere, heightened by the proximity to other diners, which some may feel a bit too close but you've got to pack them in - on the 2 occasions I've visited both have been packed! The food is as perfect as you'd expect. The ingredients are carefully selected to offer a taste that doesn't hit you over the head, instead offering subtle flavours. Pair this with a carefully curated selection of wines and beers and you've got a great night guaranteed. If you have room I'd definitely recommend having the Pistachio ice cream to finish - the best I've tasted this side of the North Sea.”

Toasted to perfection and the addition of some chilli heat wave Doritos in it for that crunch took it to the next level. I had the Bhaji sandwich the other week which was awesome too but I think with maybe a little mint (vegan) Yoghurt on it would take it level with today's taste sensation. What do you think Rack?”

Haven't had my nails done for a while but Lisa has been my nail tech for years and is fabulous. Sophie of Contour Beauty is also amazing. Had a couple of treatments from her aswell. It's just a brilliant 1 stop shop for beauty treatments.”

After contemplating microblading for a while, I scoured pictures for a good while (before and afters) chose to go with D at the Bali Room Bramhall as her work looked meticulously perfect. A warm, professional welcome and a spotlessly clean treatment room awaited. was not disappointed. A full, historical questionnaire was submitted and Microblading was described in detail. You are numb and do no feel this treatment so if you are worried about pain, fear no more. I walked out of the Bali Room feeling absolutely amazing. Just look at my pictures, I have natural looking, individual hair strokes! D is an amazing artist and I cannot wait to go back for my 6 week top up for my final result. Cannot recommend micriblading with D highly enough. There are many sub standard Micriblading options out there. Don't risk anyone else, these works of art are on your face!
