“Great little bar with fabulous staff! We hired the back room for a small birthday party. Adam was great, asking what drinks and music we'd like in advance. The room is small but it's big enough for 30 people to mingle. There's table service - and the staff were fantastic in operating the tab system, so you only pay for your own drinks. No food, but we could probably have ordered bar snacks. This was a lovely venue for a small party and the evening was made really special by the great staff.”

“Feel I need to leave a review for the Gel Nail Extensions I had. As a new product and procedure I was very sceptical but I can honestly say they are the best false nails I’ve ever had. They look and feel just like acrylic only much lighter in weight which makes them feel more natural. I have an extremely hands on job and they have lasted weeks. Lost my first one today but didn’t even feel it come off and my natural nail is like new underneath. I haven’t always been a massive fan of acrylic nails because of how much they hurt and ruin your natural nails, but I would definitely recommend these to anyone, especially if you only want them for a one off special occasion! Been going to P&P for many years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Nat and Lynsey are super friendly and treat every client with special care and attention you don’t seem to get elsewhere. “Kirby does my laser hair removal and she is just the best ❤️ I have now had 4 sessions with Kirby and I am loving the results already. I used to have the worst ingrown hairs and shaving rash humanly possible and after my first session it was minimal and after the second it was gone! I literally cannot wait to see the results from the 6 sessions and so excited to get other areas. Kirby is so professional and makes you feel so at ease and the machine is an absolute power house. I would recommend the salon to everyone as I’m now having all my beauty treatments there”

I was a bit nervous to have my hair cut as it was quite long but Molly cut my hair perfectly and styled it just as I’d asked, also she was so friendly and polite the whole way through. The variety, choice & quality of all their products is excellent, really high standards from their wine, to the cheese, to the coffee & locally sourced bakery goods & not only do the WP team really know the detail, story, flavour of the products, they know how to recommend to you based on your likes or what you’re having with it! It’s brilliant to have such a lovely, friendly, welcoming place on the high street, where you feel comfortable to pop in for a drink on your own or with friends. Emma & Will & their whole team are fantastic & make a fab little shop even better. The best place for miles around.”

“Really enjoyed my time there. We had a lot of fun doing the 90min escape from the tomb room. Ben our host was polite and fun to work with. We asked nicely and we’re also allowed to take a couple of beers in with us too. We had a massive laugh and will be going back to do the other rooms that they have!”

“Very impressive vr venue, with many immersive arcade setups. I've been to a few vr places and this place impressed me, they have an arcade section where there are cars, iron man suit, tron bikes, egg pods, rail gun, and free movement area. They also have vr rooms for a different experience. What impressed me here was that the staff are helpful, knowledgeable, that all the kit are easy to setup for whatever games you want. They have various package deals, I did 60 mins for both my children for 50 pounds, it's a little expensive but in terms of the kit they have I think it's worth it. Kids will love this place, I plan to visit again and try out the vr rooms. Update: So I won a 60 min vip vr experience and 30 min arcade experience which I used recently. The staff were very helpful. In the room you have a different set of vr games, my kids played vacation simulator for 60 mins, and each took turns to play. I think if you're by yourself then 60 mins might be enough but with multiple people you should consider 90 or even 120 mins in order for everyone to get a chance to enjoy. As these are more immersive than the arcade games, you'll play much longer. The staff know the games very well, they stay with you in the room, and can adjust the headset or advise you when you're stuck in the games. I cannot recommend this place enough, you get a great experience, excellent customer service, lots of games to choose from.”
