“The food was really delicious and I loved the modern take on the more traditional dishes. It's different from all other restaurants I have been to (in the best way possible), and I found it quite refreshing and exciting to try dishes that aren't so common and easily found elsewhere. The food and the cocktails were beautifully presented (10/10 for aesthetic) and the staff were really friendly.”

“Cheetham Star was closed for 19 months and finally its reopened. I really missed this place. Highly recommend their food, its usually delicious authentic middle eastern food, its fresh, especially the kobeda and chicken tikka on rice or naan. Really well made pizza's from here. Staff are friendly and the service is pretty quick, can eat inside or takeway. It can get busy at times. Really worth a visit. 5 stars!”

“We stayed at City Suites and never normally use the hotel restaurant…I am so glad we did this time! Really lovely food with exceptional service from Veronica. All of the staff were very pleasant and the food was faultless. The staff even bought out a birthday cocktail for my birthday which was a really lovely and personal touch. We really enjoyed our visit and will happily recommend to all of our friends and family who visit Manchester.”

“I brought my Thai mum here and I am so glad I did! I could tell it was going to be good just from looking at the menu and photos, but wow, if you want delicious, authentic Thai food, this is the place. There are so many incredible dishes on the menu that you just can’t get in a lot of other Thai restaurants, I can’t wait to come back and try more already! We came pretty early, about 4 o clock, and we were there till 7 because we loved it so much and were chatting away with Chef May. It did start getting pretty busy after 6 though (even on a Wednesday), so I would definitely recommend booking ahead! I find it a bit ridiculous that people are complaining about the issue of the toilet being round the corner, it’s really not far and I noticed that other restaurants and businesses in Deansgate Mews also have their own toilets in the same block. It’s hardly a sacrifice to eat delicious Thai food in a cute, casual setting in my opinion, unless you have mobility issues, but hey, each to their own. I also disagree with the complaints I’ve seen about pricing, considering chef May’s prices are in line with every other Thai restaurant I’ve been to (and I’ve been to many), plus her food is tasty, excellent quality, and are generous portions too. Myself and my mum both got one of our favourite noodle dishes - Kuai Tiew Moo Nam Tok, and the portion was huge! I also highly recommend the tod maan pla (thai fishcakes). Thank you chef May for a lovely visit and for chatting with us, we will be back soon!”

“Love this place but please, if you're visiting, do take your litter and other waste with you. It's an enchanting place with probably a few little folk as there's Scarlet Elf Cups on the elder trees but it definitely doesn't have dog poo or coffee cup fairies!”

“Went with a few friends and we had the best time. A nice way to see the Salford quays with a detailed audio of the locations we pass. A good selection of hot/cold/alcoholic drinks and snacks available. Clean bathrooms on board. Lovely, attentive staff. Great value for the £10 cost. Definitely recommend and can't wait to go again.”

“I visited this park whilst visiting my son for the weekend. It was very clean and void of dog excrement which was a pleasant surprise. The litter bins, surfaces and play equipment were very well maintained along with the trees and flowerbeds. It was raining but plenty of families were making use of the facility which was lovely to see and we enjoyed walking around the nature trail. The toilets were closed during the time of my visit due to the pandemic and Diana reminding visitors to socially distance were very visible but subtlety positioned.”

Customer service is impeccable, including their delivery. “My friend recommended bijou and have been going for awhile now, I’ve been other places too but I love bijou and went there for New Year’s Eve. Booked a table for New Year’s Eve this was very reasonable in comparison to other places. The place was sooo packed it was a great vibe, everyone looked so glamorous and a friendly crowd. Place - looked amazing, love the decor, style different rooms spacious place. The bouncers even thou so busy were really nice and chatty and made me feel welcome. Drinks selection is always on point there. Staff really attentive and nice and didn’t have to wait long for drinks.”
