“We stayed at City Suites and never normally use the hotel restaurant…I am so glad we did this time! Really lovely food with exceptional service from Veronica. All of the staff were very pleasant and the food was faultless. The staff even bought out a birthday cocktail for my birthday which was a really lovely and personal touch. We really enjoyed our visit and will happily recommend to all of our friends and family who visit Manchester.”

“Very nice place to have a few drinks and some delicious pub food reasonably priced. The Botanist is beautifully decorated, the cocktails and selection of drinks is is impressive. I really enjoyed my halloumi hanging kebab and sweet chili fries. The staff is very approachable and attentive. Special thanks to our waiter Sam who kindly made sure that we were happy and well attended at all times. Will go back :)”

We originally came in out of curiosity but will be returning for the quality. We got the Chicken Taco'o with their burger mayo and Algerian sauce, and oh mon dieu, was it amazing. The only grievance we have is that we didn't get more of it! If you want to start your day right, boost your day, or end your evening, come to this place, honestly, you won't regret it.”

“Can't recommend Fraser highly enough. Always get an excellent service. He's great with our dog who needed to be socialised properly after lockdown. Gave us some superb tips as to how to handle challenging behaviours, all of which worked a treat. Looking forward to a long working relationship!”

It's different from all other restaurants I have been to (in the best way possible), and I found it quite refreshing and exciting to try dishes that aren't so common and easily found elsewhere. The food and the cocktails were beautifully presented (10/10 for aesthetic) and the staff were really friendly.”

“I only ordered because, a) I couldn't be bothered to cook, and b) I'd had a leaflet put through the door. However. The order was delivered in less than 30 mins. The food was so, so tasty and obviously fresh. It was serious value for money. I'll definitely be ordering from Don Bravo again.”

“Sapporo Teppanyaki is a great place to dine. The food is delicious and a wide variety of items is available. From beef to lamb to fish to veggie options. They confirmed that the chicken and lamb is halal. The taste of their items is also very good. Sushi tastes great as well and so does their dessert. Booking is highly recommended if you want a place at one of the live cooking stations.”

“I really enjoyed the food. The service was excellent and the staff were very helpful. I got the mix grill for 2, and it was more than enough for me, my wife and 2 kids. The owners are great and made us feel very welcome. The decor inside is stunning and the food is fresh and really tasty. My little kids even got lollies at the end. “What an unexpected surprise! Spontaneously went for dinner on Saturday evening. They found us a table in the upstairs area which was lovely. Food was delicious and the service was attentive and helpful. We returned to the downstairs bar for cocktails. All the little details made it a lovely place and we had a wonderful evening. “Had a great evening here with a large group of colleagues. The restaurant was very accommodating of our large group (30 people) and we had a great evening here. The 4 course meal was a lot of fun and it was the perfect amount of food. I would absolutely recommend this place for dinner dates and corporate events.”

“The place is lovely. I used to go there a lot a few years ago, then went away so stopped. I went back today for a pizza because theirs are crunchy. The chef was adorable and we improvised that pizza I wanted for a takeaway (picture), totally yummy. The whole staff there is extremely nice and have always been. The decor is lovely but with all the tables occupied not exactly possible to take pictures. Always spotlessly clean, too.”

“Excellent. Hadn't booked, but managed to get us in after a 30 minute wait. Sat by 8.15pm, food served until 9.30pm which meant all the options didn't come round, so would recommend booking earlier. Nice veggie options, couldn't finish the tomato gnocchi. Would highly recommend, and recommend booking.”
