“Great location by an airfield. We did Ring Of Red around Manchester and called in here for a very welcome cuppa. Incredibly busy with lots of red clad bikers, like we do when we impersonate a giant poppy, ha. Long queue, but on the ball staff who served efficiently. Tea was good and not UHT either, whuuup, whuuuppp. Loads of seating inside and out with great views of a very active airfield. First time here, I'll be back.”

“We held the wake of a loved family member here 21.10.2022 and the food and service was outstanding. From booking and arranging with Jo to the actual day the service and compassion shown by all staff was amazing. Highly recommended for any bereaved family x”

“I visited this park whilst visiting my son for the weekend. It was very clean and void of dog excrement which was a pleasant surprise. The litter bins, surfaces and play equipment were very well maintained along with the trees and flowerbeds. It was raining but plenty of families were making use of the facility which was lovely to see and we enjoyed walking around the nature trail. The toilets were closed during the time of my visit due to the pandemic and Diana reminding visitors to socially distance were very visible but subtlety positioned.”

“Best fish and chips I’ve had outside of going to a restaurant for a long time. We have an ‘award winning’ chippy closer to us but much prefer the Winton Bar. Freshly cooked fish, and you can order small fish which for me is more than enough. They lightly batter them on request and they’re cooked to perfection, nice crispy batter and lovely chips (2 small portions enough for 3 of us) not all hard and bitty like I’ve had elsewhere. Friendly staff too.”

“Grew up as a child selling bull rushes outside on the wall. Now as an adult I frequently stop by this establishment when visiting my hometown of Eccles. Great people and food and customer service!”

“First time ordering from here but will definitely be ordering again! One of the only Indian takeaway places I know that offer quorn as an option for vegetarians as oppose to just vegetable options and the Quorn Bhuna was amazing! I went for my standard first order of a Lamb Tikka Madras, the lamb was tender, not at all chewy and the Madras had a lot of flavour. It was on the milder side of some Madras I've had but would order it again!”

“Order this regularly for my grandma because she really enjoys the food…. It’s lovely food and clean… tonight the UBER delivery man refused to going into the gated complex where she lives and said my 76 year old grandma will have to walk all the way out of the complex in the cold wet and dark to get her order, I explained she’s disabled and can not walk that far and I’m 30mins away but my grandma can collect it from the apartment door so he would not have to go into the building as she is in a ground floor apartment so just into the car park but the rude UBER driver refused and said well he’s not driving through the gates so she won’t be able to have her food… I rang the shop direct and the the staff were so apologetic and the owner went out of his way and drove all the way there himself to take her food to her front door… so this takeaway is very highly recommended as staff and food are great… Thank you!”

“I cannot explain how delicious their food is. Me and my husband have tried a lot of their dishes and are big fan of their Chinese food. The only draw back is that there is no place to sit and dine. Hence, take away is the only option left. But i guess it's fine cause the rate is very affordable. In simple words, it's good food at affordable prices. Go for it It's a big thumbs up.”

“Visited VG lounge today with friends and children and we were pleasantly surprised at how nice the food was. The price was excellent as they are currently doing blue light discount and "kids eat free" with an adult meal. The staff were so nice and attentive, we had a lovely experience.”
