“We had a fantastic day at Manchester Bees forest school today. It was lovely to see my two children grow in confidence throughout the day and get involved with so much, including lighting fires and drilling! Thanks to Siân for making everything so accessible for my daughter, who is deaf. The children went straight into the bath when we got home, and the water turned brown with mud! That’s the sign of a great day!”

“Very nice place to have a few drinks and some delicious pub food reasonably priced. The Botanist is beautifully decorated, the cocktails and selection of drinks is is impressive. I really enjoyed my halloumi hanging kebab and sweet chili fries. The staff is very approachable and attentive. Special thanks to our waiter Sam who kindly made sure that we were happy and well attended at all times. Will go back :)”

“My daughter started here in September just as she turned two, as a nervous and anxious person I was dreading the transition for the both of us but Nikita made me feel so comfortable and was so compassionate towards the both of us during this time. My daughter now looks forward to her weeks here and tells me how much she misses “kita” during their time apart. All of the staff are wonderful and treat the children with the upmost love and respect. They fill their days with multiple activities that are fun but also educational building essential life skills and confidence in our little ones. Their is a indoor nursery with a home from home environment and the outdoor / garden area is full of activities such as a mud kitchen, bug hotel and camp fire. If your child is slightly feral like mine and a free spirit this is definitely the best place for them! My daughters language and confidence has come on leaps and bounds here and I cannot recommend the nursery enough. Thank you for creating a conscious, beautiful space for our children to blossom. There really is no better place local!”

“This school is pure art, the marvel legend(morbius) is my math teacher , the scran is truly morbin. A hundred mormotions flow through me in pure excitement just because it's morbin time , the schools religion is morbianity which I love ,Binley mega chippy is 2 minutes away so after school I can buy a fresh morbius meal”

“To be fair I came accrros Scotts Supplies by pure luck when looking on Google for something else and they been recommended. Personally I have dealt with Sam, the communication is very clear, competitive prices, quality products, what else can you ask for 5 out of 5. Ah yes, the delivery driver .... sorry mate I didn't catch your name as both times the weather was awfull and could not speak much but he was also very friendly and helpful. So complete service there from start to finish. I have some other projects planed and I know who am I calling, will recommend with both hands. Cheers for the good work guys.”

“Bought a mattress from Mike while I was pregnant, and I started sleeping well again. Can't remember specifically which one I got, but it has this temperature regulation thing and basically we don't sweat, even on a really hot day. Really happy and would definitely recommend. “Beautiful new addition to the villages, we needed a coffee shop like this! Gorgeous interior, friendly staff (very accomodating of my iced coffee request on a lovely sunny day in saddleworth), delicious healthy food options that are a refreshing change from the usual village coffee shop offerings. Also I absolutely love all the diary alternatives that they offer and so nice not to be charged extra for choosing coconut milk. Will carry on recommending people to visit”

“An awesome place with superb grub. I had The Houston burger with added brisket and pickles. Really nice thick juicy patty and high quality bacon & brisket. Just the right amount of sauce too. The bun was light but also held firm with the filling. The iron brew chicken fries were also delicious. Not a big fan of regular fries but these were crisp, fresh and well seasoned. Huge portion too! I also had tasty bbq beans and some refreshing coleslaw to cap a brilliant tray of food. A delightful experience in a quirky establishment with terrific friendly staff. Highly recommend trying it for yourselves.”

“I like it here. A medium sized pond with a view up to the hills, on a quiet gravel road. Sometimes the cows come down to the water's edge, or the mist makes the whole scene gorgeous. Mallards, tufted ducks, coots, the occasional goosander, heron and kingfisher. Flocks of geese in the fields often. Swans nest here in the summer.”

“We came to the dog walking evening on the 27th of June. We had wanted to visit the gardens since they opened but this gave us, and our furry friends, the ideal opportunity to explore. What a resounding success it seemed to be. We absolutely loved it and cannot wait for the next one in July. Everybody we spoke to said the same as us. The gardens themselves are beautiful and we all enjoyed exploring. It is a place that is ever changing and I would like to see it in the different seasons. I really hope the dog friendly evenings remain a regular thing.”
