Last time I just needed mineral oil to season a chopping board, walk in and get a friendly greeting, I'm telling him what I'm looking for, he points me to the isle, comes over to help without needing me to ask, then when I tell him I need food safe low/no odour, he grabs two options from beside himself without looking. I was in and out within two minutes.”

I've been ordering delivery and going in sometimes for a couple of years now and it's always really tasty and friends and family I share it with always agree too. I have a friend who lives 15 miles away who's hooked on coming weekly, you can bring your own booze for a cheaper meal out. The staff are friendly... even my family from India who can cook and afford top class food themselves, loved it! Reccomend the Lamb Karahi, Tarka Daal, Begun (Aubergine) Bhaji, Prawn Puri and Garlic & Coriander Naan, in particular. Great food and great value. Feel lucky to have this "hidden gem" on my doorstep in Reddish :-) Thanks.”

“Spent a pleasant hour wandering through the park whilst waiting for a friend who had gone for a run. Classic Victorian/Edwardian layout and full of interesting features, trees and plants. Not to be missed!”

“This is a lovely park, not massive but very well kept with a couple of car park options if driving to it. The park has a lake which can be walked round, and grassland which when we went had sheep and lambs wandering around. Its a nice area, if you are expecting a long walk however, you'll probably need somewhere much bigger - but great if you have small people or just need to take dog out for a stretch of the legs!”
