We did quite a lot of research before choosing this nursery and have not been disappointed. I would rate Scamps overall as excellent, as it's recent ranking as top day nursery in the North West bears out.”

Great nursery, great activities, whether it’s forest school or stretch & grow they’re always doing something different, trips out into town. Our daughter has made lots of friends, made attachments to staff members, just really enjoys herself. It will be sad for her to leave, but we recommend 10/10, fabulous nursery!”

“I took my daughter's to the Bonfire night. What a fantastic evening. The price of entrance only ten pounds for 1 adult and 2 children including a hot dog and drink.. wow !! The fire was well under control and the fireworks was a great display. I was really impressed. Would recommend especially for families with children. Well done to all the helpers.. credit to you”

“I like it here. A medium sized pond with a view up to the hills, on a quiet gravel road. Sometimes the cows come down to the water's edge, or the mist makes the whole scene gorgeous. Mallards, tufted ducks, coots, the occasional goosander, heron and kingfisher. Flocks of geese in the fields often. Swans nest here in the summer.”

“If this was in the Lake District it would be a star attraction. Fortunately it isn't, so it remains very quiet and relatively unvisited. The approach from Bollington, past the derelict and dangerous Ingersley Mill, is interesting but worth it. Combine it with walks through Rainow, along Kerridge Hill and a visit to White Nancy and you have an excellent outing. But don't tell too many people otherwise it will lose its quiet charm.”

“ECSAC is a fantastic dive club. I joined five months ago as a qualified diver from another agency and have been made to feel very welcome. The club is very active, both diving and socially, has excellent facilities and is well run. I would strongly recommend popping down on a Thursday evening to see for yourself; you will be impressed!”
