Everything was clean and organized. Staff very friendly and helpful Location: 5 minutes walking to the Victoria station and a nice shopping center. “We had a fantastic meal at the Old Wellington, loved it! We booked a table on the day but they had plenty of space for dining. Our server, Tina, was fantastic, really attentive and cared that we had a great experience (she even double checked our beers were ok as we can some from the bottom of the barrel, replaced with no hesitation). The food (Ocean fish and chips, burger, fish platter and landlords platter) were all fantastic - really good value for a fantastic time. Highly recommend!”

“A bar worth visiting. If you enjoy a great view while you’re sipping on an amazing cocktail, you have to go here. The bartenders know their menu and they’re also extremely nice. We needed no reservation when we went there during a Sunday (midday). There where lots of seats available both inside and outside. One of my favourite parts was the live music, wow!”

“Such good food, many good vegetarian and meat options, the veggie cold meze is lovely and the meat meze super tasty The mains are perfectly sized, the lamb (adana kebab) is cooked to perfection with the flavours seeping throughout the dish, the grilled chicken (pilic kebab) had the perfect charred flavour. The wait staff is so amazing and friendly, she was happy to explain any dish and suggest dishes as well Would definitely recommend if you want an authentic flavour”

“Great pub, I traveled from America, had a long train ride to my hotel and the Sawyer’s Arms was my first stop in England. What an experience: it’s a beautiful old school pub in the middle of Deansgate, with very reasonable prices, good food and pint selection and the staff was very courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. I ended up returning several times during my stay and I look forward to doing the same when I return to Manchester.”
