“Had my hair coloured and cut here by one of the owners, Rachel. She was very pleasant and did a great job with my hair. Took my 5 Yr old daughter a few weeks later to have her hair trimmed by the other owner, unfortunately cannot remember her name, sorry! But she was lovely too and interacted well with my daughter throughout the cut. She took her time doing this and gave me good advice on how to manage her hair (as it's very wispy still) . Reasonable prices. Would definately recommend this place.”

“Samson and Nala spent 5 months with Helen and Jan, we initially thought it would only be a few weeks until we bought our house. It was an emotional time being separated from our fur babies, Helen and Jan cared for us as well as our cats, we visited often and always had a cup of tea and a chat. The rooms are amazing with lots of toys to keep them stimulated, they changed rooms for a change of scenery, Samson has a history of having a sensitive stomach and was fed top quality food, their emotional needs were met with lots of daily cuddles, we were kept updated and any problems Helen would let us know. Helen and Jan have a genuine passion for cats, we were so happy with their care. The day we picked them up was emotional for all, Samson and Nala are now settled in our new house and we will always be so grateful for the love and care of our fur babies. “Close Park is a delightful area of sculpted land and wilderness. The land originally belonged to the Bealey Family who donated it to the public. There's a wonderful children's play area, a sensory garden, a huge field to walk dogs and there's also the ruins of Radcliffe Tower.”
