“This was our first escape room experience. We loved it!! The whole set-up was very well run from the briefing video at the start to the photo and lovely hot chocolate at the end. The staff were great. We did Merlin's Magic Academy and it was just at our level (Us two plus our 15 and 10 year old sons) ...we almost made it out within the hour :) Plenty of help during the challenge if required but it flows very well. Looking forward to returning and doing another room soon.”

“Enjoy some Indian and Persian food at Ivory IndoPersian Hidden away on the edge of Stockport, Ivory IndoPersian provides a mixture of Indian and Persian food. Each type of cuisine has its own chef, so make sure you order off the menu that you prefer - don’t expect your asian spices on the Persian dishes. It was really busy when we visited, and at full capacity it may feel a little cramped. Don’t let that deter you from trying it out though. The Indian dishes were; \Pani Puri [£3.50] - This was spicy and yummy, with mashed potatoes inside. The tamarind sauce was really tasty \Ivory Indian Special [For 2 £30.00] - Big, juicy, crunchy prawns just the way we like it and with a proper tandoori taste. The meaty lamb chops were done exactly how you want it \Achari [£12.90] - This was such a good recommendation from one of the owners. Sweet yet spicy and filled with a mixture of spices - such a good lamb curry The Persian dishes were; \Mix Mezze [£7.50] - Included the cucumber yoghurt, a mixed salad, hummus and yoghurt. The cucumber yoghurt was refreshing, the yoghurt tasted like plain, greek yoghurt - think it was meant to be garlic and shallots but this didn’t come through. The indian naan bread that came with it was nice, but a Persian flatter bread would have been better \Ivory Persian Special [For 2 £37.00] - Same as the indian special, the lamb chops were pure meat! The chicken was juicy, the flat kebab a little dry and the other kobedas cooked nicely \Zereshk Polow & Chicken [£12.90] - A sweet taste, quite like rose and saffron providing that unusuality. A simple, unique dish that was really nice The sweetness for the end consisted of the list below. We were so full by this point that they gave us little tasters so we could see what they were like; \Gulab Jamun [£5] - Pure yum but imagine with a bit of ice cream, this would have been heavenly. The cardamom wasn’t overpowering at all, which was nice L\emon Cheesecake [£5.60] - A tangy, refreshing hit \Baklava [£7] - Pure sweet, syrupy baklava We’ll be back to try some more of the Persian goodies Recommended for: Curries, Indian, Persian Service: High Price: ££ Halal: Full Menu”

“Big store with lots of arts, crafts pretty much anything needed for birthdays, weddings we call in on a few occasions for things needed. We have been in a lot lately due to sorting my daughters 18th, staff are very friendly one lady that works there is always smiling and chatting (older lady) we found an easel online comparing prices which was the same price as instore I'd rather pick up than have things delayed in delivery from Amazon.”

“Great little restaurant/ takeaway. Myself and my girlfriend visited on a Sunday at 5pm and we were the only ones sitting in at that time but within our dine in, we saw many people come in for takeaways. Upon arrival we were politely given menus and told when we were ready to order, to do so up at the counter. As of 15/08/2021 their card machine isn't working so they are cash only at the moment, as they had a sign saying their card machine is broken I presume this isn't a permanent thing for the business. We had no problem paying cash though so this wasn't an inconvenience to us at all. We ordered a Tex Mex Chicken Burger Meal with a can of Diet Pepsi and sticky fries along with a Veg Wrap with a water and Peri-Peri fries. Both of which were great and came to £16.70, if I recall correctly. The chicken burger was amazing, tasted amazing and looked amazing. Chicken was lovely and the toppings all went together brilliantly. The sticky fries which are 'fries tossed in special spicy bbq sauce' were very nice, a bbq sauce which was on the sweeter side and stuck true to the sticky claim. My other half had the Veg Wrap which looked and felt very well filled, as well as very well wrapped, nothing was falling out the bottom at all. The 'veg patty' which was inside seemed to be a breaded patty mainly consisting of mashed potato, along with a few peas and sweetcorn by the looks of things. It was basically just a large potato croquette which was completely fine with both myself and my other half, they enjoyed it. It also came with salsa, 'jungle fry' (peppers and onions grilled in their 'special seasoning'), lettuce and mayo inside to spruce it up. The Peri-Peri chips were normal fries with a light dusting of spicy salt, not a whole covering of the spicy salt but enough for you to taste it a little, they're not quite as good as Nando's peri-peri fries, they're hard to beat. In full, we enjoyed our dine-in experience at Jungle Grill Stockport, it was a pleasant and yummy experience. We also thought the décor of the establishment was great, textured grey ceilings to mimic a jungle cavern, lights shining through bamboo poles, artificial candle lights with rope wrapped around them as if taken from a precarious rickety bridge in a rainforest and lots of artificial foliage on the walls, very jungle-y indeed. Can't really think of anything bad about our experience here so its a big thumbs up from both of us!”

“This shop/store is amazing ,, and super pet friendly .. I went here today after being “turfed out” of Dunelm with a 12 week old Dalmatian puppy,,,, I understand stores have policies but Dunelm need to move with the times it’s 2023.. Sofology have dog bowls upon entry, the staff are super friendly particularly Paris and the other lady I think her name is Amanda,, super helpful , super smiley and an asset to the company… I haven’t been in this store before but would highly recommend it,,, furniture is stunning, modern and very reasonably priced…..loved it Staff are super friendly .., would highly recommend”

“I can’t recommend baby sensory Stockport highly enough! Such an amazing space, the classes are amazing and so many resources and toys. My baby loves the sessions so much all the lights, songs and activities. Natalie & Michelle are just amazing and so lovely in class. I really think the sessions have helped with my babies social skills too! This is an amazing class and space.”

“We've done Hannah's Bloom classes both at Gatley and Cheadle Heath. The classes are entertaining and support little ones' development but Hannah really is the star of the show. My daughter is captivated by her, and she knows all the babies by name. She creates a welcoming and safe atmosphere and after a tricky start with numerous health problems, she helped make my first venture out of the house with my baby a really positive one. I go back to work soon and I'm gutted that I will miss our weekly classes.”

“As a local and partial to an escape room, this was too good to pass up. In recent times I've played three games, all of which were pitched at a good level, with clues available when required. The host was friendly, enthusiastic and has done a fine job piecing together the Victor Chan trilogy. Another great place in and around Davenport high street.”

“Had takeaway a couple of times from here and it's been delicious both times! Prawn and mango salad and massaman curry especially good. They package things really well for delivery (cold salads separate from hot food) etc which is thoughtful.”

“Been great and very easy process buying our sofa from DFS. Lots to choose from and got to say we travelled around a few places looking, sitting and debating but all agreed DFS had the nicer sofas that also felt sturdier and like they would stand the test of time. We were treated exceptionally well by the staff who brought us drinks and as much as you could tell they were trying to sell the furniture to us (that is their job after all) they still respected our space and gave us distance when we required it. We chatted with few different staff members but ultimately we were dealt with by Derek who was truly lovely. He was knowledgeable about the products and their pros and cons and he kept us posted every step of the way, phoning us personally when there was a little wrinkle in the process- an easily sorted one - and we appreciated this very much. We felt very much that we've got a good deal for our money and had a great range to choose from and that the staff were welcoming, friendly and respectful.”
