Bates Stage Academy
● Open51-57 Wellington Road North, Stockport SK4 1HW, United Kingdom“I started at Bates as soon as a turned 3 and I can’t recommend the dance school enough. Bates became a second home to me, like it does all the girls and the teachers can’t do enough for you. The quality of the dance shows every year are amazing and the opportunities Miss Julie provides for all the children are amazing. Bates won’t only provide you with amazing dance lessons but friends who become family too.”

Marple Sports Club
● ClosedMarple, Stockport SK6 6ND, United Kingdom“Good access, but single vehicle width only. Good sized car park, just mind out for the pot holes one or two are quite large. Excellent facilities, bar is nice and big, good range of drinks, coffee too if you want, prices aren't too bad and service is with a smile. The toilets are good sized and kept clean and should be okay for disabled access. The club house has good access on the ground floor. Attended a party here and it was a good sized area but definitely book well in advance as it books up quickly.”

Chestnut Theatre School
● Open“Amazing theatre school with a fun, positive, diverse and inclusive ethos. With the most caring and supportive staff My sons have been going to Chestnut Theatre School for 6 years. They absolutely love it. They have so much fun as well as learning a range of drama skills. They have thrived under the support of Sarah and her team who have such a wonderful way of nurturing and supporting young people to bring out the best in them. My boys have grown so much in confidence. The range of activities/games and learning they do with chestnuts keeps them busy and engaged, They have taken part in numerous shows and showcases which they really enjoy. What I really like about chestnuts is that they will always work at the pace of your child. They are not pushy. If your child is shy/and quiet (my youngest one was for the longest time) that's ok there is still a space for them at chestnuts. They wont get lost in the crowd as every child is made to feel like star. And as a mum its really important for me that the clubs my kids go to a not just educational but are fun, positive and supportive. And chestnuts definitely is. 5stars!!”

Kiddie Kloud Nursery
● Open“Our son goes to Kiddie Kloud and he loves it. ALL the staff are brilliant with the kids, it’s very educational and they’ve always got something to bring home to show or some sort of activity on the go. On Tuesdays the older children go to what they call ‘Forest school’ where they go and learn about nature in the local reserve, foraging for leaves and sticks etc. We were very lucky to stumble on Kiddie Kloud for our son.”

Priestnall School
● Closed“Don’t you understand basic concepts like politeness? The first thing I did was give a self introduction. To ask why you're going to introduce yourself, that's because it's the most important thing to start as a relationship. No matter what kind of relationship, isn ’ t it necessary to start with an acquaintanceship where we both know each other? So, just because I'm someone who cares about such things, I often think that no matter to whom, I will be as friendly as possible. I ’ m not saying that there isn ’ t a chance that the other party is shy. Even if you think you want to become well-connected, when you start by introducing yourself, something in you always cannot help but hesitate. Out of consideration for those types of people, I try to introduce myself as much as possible and act in order to create a space where they feel comfortable. Of course, I don ’ t expect this grace to be immediately obvious. However, I do have hopes that after some time, they will be able to detect the meaning of an introductions. Or, rather, that they will become aware of it. Or is it natural to talk to someone you meet for the first time without introducing yourself? If that ’ s the case, then there ’ s a slight difference between my common sense and culture. In that case, although both parties feel a sense of obligation, it becomes necessary to refuse the other side in advance so as to prevent a misunderstanding. Isn ’ t that so different from what I said before, taking being gentle with each other for granted? In fact, sa ying so feels impolite. And that ’ s a loss of etiquette, and the other party is left with a lesser value. A false assessment of each other ’ s value imposes on others. This is a violation of the rights of others. From any rational perspective, this is an infringement of my rights.”
