Hare & Hounds
“We called in last Sunday evening, 13th Sept. No food available (fair enough it was quite late) so the man behind the bar suggested that we go to the excellent Indian over the road to order a take-away. He said they would deliver it to the H and H. That worked well, and the same kind man even brought us plates and cutlery to where we sat outside on that warm evening. We had some drinks and thanked him for his great kindness. It was well beyond what we would have expected from him, unfortunately didn't get his name, and we were sorry not to return there as we were leaving the following morning. What great service! John Hammonds”
