“This hotel is extraordinary. We - two pals - popped in because it was a handy meeting place for a journey further North. I parked in the hotel car park through Just Park but by the time I'd navigated the M6 I was quite delayed. My friend went into the hotel while she was waiting and met with what can only be described as the warmest of welcomes. The atmosphere as soon as you walk through the door tells you that this hotel team cares about its guests and its visitors. They are kind, courteous and go out of their way to help.”

“Very nice staff. Beds new and comfortable. We were near the road but it didn’t keep us awake ok some furniture in our room was dated but the beds were great. We had a twin room. We got proper beds not a double and a settee. Very good price we searched for a good price and found this Travelodge. Reception staff extremely helpful and very friendly. We would go back again.”

“From the minute we made contact with Longfords, we received exceptional service. Dave the driver who picked us up during the early hours for our trip to the airport was very professional and considerate to our needs. So very helpful and ensuring we had everything to hand before we left. Simon, who picked us for the return journey was equally professional and considerate. On time and welcoming us both. The vehicle had fresh bottled water and hand wipes provided for our use and even sweets for us to enjoy. The guidance provided for our meeting point at the airport included a short video showing exactly where Simon would be was a great touch. All in all a first class service. Thank you Longfords. “Justine and Co offer a fantastic service. She's looked after our dog Elsie many times and has gone over and above in times of need, on one occasion putting in extra time to tale Elsie to emergency vets. As a result I feel very comfortable leaving Elsie in their care. She sends me updates when we're away for full peace of mind. Elsie loves it there and always comes home shattered after a big play with the other daycare doggies. Thanks Elite”

“Had a lovely Sunday lunch with family. They really looked after my mother in law who is on oxygen due to pulmonary fibrosis. Food was lovely and the staff were really welcoming, friendly and fun. The hotel, as you would expect for a wedding venue, does have really picturesque and well kept gardens, and for me it was an undiscovered gem. We will be back for afternoon tea very soon. “Fantastic experience staff really friendly afternoon tea is gorgeous. Really recommend if you book through directly or through groupon voucher. Fresh sandwiches and scones were fantastic. Will be visiting here again the location is lovely and we sat in a little room off to the side and was overall great.”

“Stayed here back in June. Stayed on a business trip, but if I was to stay here with my kids they would’ve loved the rooms as they’re all themed. My one had a tree house theme. All clean, close amenities nearby.”

“My partner has undergone 2 operations at the Spire this year, one NHS and one private. The care he received was equally excellent both times. I saw a notice for private GP appointments on one visit. I have been unable to get an answer on the phone, nor access the e consult for weeks at my surgery. We are not allowed to visit the surgery to make an appointment. In desperation I phoned the Spire, made an appointment to see a GP. I have seen Dr Coogan twice, had extensive blood tests, had all my questions answered and given advice to follow up. I could talk to him, felt very much at ease and do not regret one penny. This is what I will do in future, he is fantastic. I am lucky that I can afford to pay for a certain amount of treatment, and I shouldn't have to do this. But I am 78. It is quality of life, and worth every penny.”

“Where do I begin, from the get go I knew this hotel was for me, dirty and cheap. We was one of the lucky ones in the hotel who actually got bedding, there was a bit of a down side due to no shower working but that’s easily fixable as the legend known as IAN In reception said he would get the boys on to it thanks for forgetting to charge us Ian you are the good guy here and me and the boys love ya until next year stay safe and please stay open!
