“Absolutely lovely pub, very nice exterior and interior. Made a last minute decision to come for Sunday roast, and despite the restaurant being fully booked, they were more than happy to accommodate us in the bar area. Food came out fairly quickly and it was absolutely delicious. A decent sized portion and every part of it was tasty! Will definitely come again to try other items on the menu.”

“I've never been here before, so I booked a table for Valentine’s Day. Called the restaurant as we were running about 10 minutes late, and that was no issue. Got there and was seated right away. I got a table in the corner, which was nice, and also a red rose on the table for all dinners, nice Valentine’s Day touch. Had a choice of the main menu or special menu, ordered from the main menu. The food came quickly and was really nice. Will definitely go back.”

“Myself and my partner took my parents here on Saturday night when they had come up to visit. It was a fairly last minute booking so the only time available was 8.30pm but it was so worth it. We arrived a little early and it was very busy! There was a large group leaving and there were another large group sat down at the table. We were told we could wait at the bar and order a drink. The man at the bar was lovely, though clearly very busy dealing with drinks orders for tables as well as the 6 people standing at the bar, but we were happy to wait. By the time our drinks orders were done a table was ready and we were taken to be seated. Every member of staff was a delight in there. And the food? AMAZING. As we finished up our meal the chef came out to ask how our meal was. What a lovely guy! We had a little chat with him before leaving. As we left and got in a cab the chef came running out with my dad's phone and glasses he left at the table. Can't wait to go back. So glad we booked here.”

“Short version? Fantastic south Indian food, brilliant service and warm surroundings. Totally different to the one that was there before. Long version. Some of the best south Indian food me and the wife have ever had. This restaurant used to be something totally different called monal, we are local just being down the road. Tried it when it was monal, really dissappinting. Bad food and service, horrible atmosphere and very expensive. This is now under totally new ownership we were glad to find when we went in. We took in the menu and ordered a bit of everything that took our fancy. The curries we had were EXCELLENT. The naan, the onion bajis, the rice... All of it was high quality, cooked with care and fresh! So glad to have this place on our doorstep. The best bit? The Dosa! Incredible food. The whole place has a family feel and everyone was very welcoming. Thanks for a lovely meal, see you again soon.”

“Struggled to find a good chinese around Tyldesley area. Thought we’d try this one. The service was great and the food was even better. Salt and pepper chicken pieces were brilliant, and recommend the curry sauce with this meal. Salt and pepper ribs were also lovely. Chicken satay was brilliant, lots of flavour and the chicken, cooked to perfection. Overall a great chinese and will definitely come back. :)”

My family and I have visited this restaurant over 10 times this year ! “A great pub. One of the friendliest pubs in Swinton. Lindsey is a wonderful land lady and goes out of her way to ensure everyone is happy and has a good time. Lots of events going on games nights, karaoke, dancing. I always look forward to a night in there.”

“Went to the Boundary Stone for a family meal on Thursday 10/11/2022 it was our first time and already booked for next week. Food was very tasty and well presented we all enjoyed our meals. All the staff was extremely welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend very cosy.”

“Best fish and chips I’ve had outside of going to a restaurant for a long time. We have an ‘award winning’ chippy closer to us but much prefer the Winton Bar. Freshly cooked fish, and you can order small fish which for me is more than enough. They lightly batter them on request and they’re cooked to perfection, nice crispy batter and lovely chips (2 small portions enough for 3 of us) not all hard and bitty like I’ve had elsewhere. Friendly staff too.”

“Lovely place to stop off for a drink. Had a lovely walk through Worsley woods with the dog and stopped off for a pint. The dog was offered the doggy menu and chose ice cream. Extremely friendly staff and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Doggy friendly too!”

“Just had a delicious meal here, we were served by Alison who was lovely! The only complaint would be that a service charge of 12.5% was automatically added to the bill not giving us a chance to leave a her a tip for the great service. Not put us off though and will be returning for further meals.”

“Don’t expect more than what you’re paying for, but for the price is more than enough. The food is good, tasty, the portions are big and the price is cheap. It doesn’t take too long and is better than many cheap places from around. We always order the rice and the salt and pepper chips are the best. The wonton soup is really really nice too and the sweet chili chicken is the best. The price is usually never more than 15 pounds. We also ordered nuggets for my niece, she is a child and loved them. They’re not very tasty but they are nice.”

“I will definitely be coming here again I loved how kind and caring Lesley is she made us feel welcome and asked us if we needed anything else and not just once either and she was really friendly she is a pleasure to have working for you and it is always dead nice to have someone as bubbly as her when you come to eat whilst shopping this is the best experience I've had at a tesco cafe simply because of Lesley with everything that is going on at the moment she made us all feel at ease and couldn't have asked for better customer service really appreciated the comfort we felt and all I can say is thankyou.”
