“Extremely friendly, trustworthy and helpful service!! Firstly they managed to squeeze my car in at really short notice even though they were very busy that week. They explained thoroughly what the fault with my brakes was when they found it and explained how it could be fixed. They don't patronize women (like a lot of garages do) which was my main concern as never do you feel more of a female than when you have to take your car in to be repaired! They gave prices up front, which were extremely reasonable, and they also went above and beyond to accommodate me being able to collect the car when I couldn't get out of work before the garage shut at 4pm. Fantastic service - I have recommended them to everyone I know and I will definitely use them again.”

“Having had 2 pair of hearing aids in the past, I decided I did not want to pay £3000+ again and asked my gp to go NHS. My referral gave me two choices , I chose Beacon medical group. I was assessed within 2 weeks and fitted with new hearing aids a week later. As I said despite paying privately in the past I almost always had a level of irritation which never really went away and that was the biggest disincentive to wearing hearing aids ! The NHS audiologist was quite thorough and although only time will tell , my hearing aids were comfortable right from the start ! I would recommend the Beacon med. services and my audiologist to anyone .”

“Shocking. I have previously left a good review because of Dr Hannan who is a brilliant doctor and this review has nothing to do with them. I went to my doctor 7 months ago about symptoms I have been experiencing which I have been worried about. I can’t remember exactly how long I waited for that appointment but I think it was about 6 weeks, I had a blood test and got results quickly. I had to have another blood test 3 months after. When I rang to book it the waiting time was 6 weeks. I’ve had to wait over 2 weeks for the results after the blood test and that’s because I had to contact them. Every time I phone I get told to phone back tomorrow. I have tried 5 or 6 times now. No one picks up on the line to call through to get results so I have to pick the appointments option and getting through is terrible. I’ve been with this surgery all my life but I am now going to change.”

“This is a fantastic rehabilitation centre! It has everything you need all under one roof for every part of your rehabilitation and onwards. It is fully accessible for all disabilities. I can't rate this place highly enough for everything they do. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and supportive. It has a WRVS cafe which is open until 2pm each day. Free Wifi Offer transport services for appointments. Which you do need to book in advance. This centre offers: Specialist Rehabilitation Doctors, Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Prosthetists, Orthotists Postual Care Specialists and Counselling. Physiotherapy Gym, Wheelchair services, Occupational Therapy, Prosthetics & Orthotics - casting and fitting rooms for both children and adults, Rehabilitation Counselling. The Manchester Prosthetic User Association and Manchester Wheelchair User Group are based here to offer Peer to Peer support to the centre's users. It also has a great resource area with lots of information and event details from numerous charities - Wheel Power, Limbless Association, Limb Power, Blesma, Reach, MacMillan Cancer Support, ManFit, Age UK, LimbCare and many more. “Janice is simply amazing. I have lots of Counselling and EFT with Janice because of my job role and previous triggers from my past. She has helped me increase my confidence, explore and sort my past issues and triggers in a safe and confidential environment. Some of these triggers where around food and I have now, with the help of Janice, managed to examine and sort out my relationship with food. Which has helped me increase my confidence and of course loose that weight. I can also now walk into a dentist's without anyone with me (This was a huge thing for me). That fear and being triggered by the dentist has now just gone and its a HUGE freedom! I can't thank Janice enough for helping me when I needed it the most and I know I can go back to her whenever I feel a little anxiety or I need someone to talk to who is totally unbiased and full of empathy. All the staff have been great, I have learned a lot, since what has happened to me, that there are people who are much worse off than ourselves, even if we are having a very difficult time. You may not realise what is going on in the background, or how they are looking after people in a dignified respectful way. Nothing is perfect, but in my experience, the staff and doctors, have done everything to sort things out for me. I may not be finished with their help and support yet, but I truly thankful.”
