“An absolutely amazing pub with a community driven personality, Lee and Rachel the management and their wonderful bar staff make you feel right at home and offer a great range of spirits, drinks, Gin & Cocktails and more, if you're traveling in and around Denton or Manchester you need to drop in, especially when they start serving their food menu again once restrictions lift. For now, go and enjoy the wonderful outdoor space with a bespoke guiness hut, heated seats near the rear entrance and the stunning rattan furniture and twinkly lights. Need I say more! :)”

“Love Debdale Park! It’s a little bit (well a lot actually!) of countryside in a big city. It’s a break from the hustle and bustle of life and a moment of peace when you visit Debdale. There’s so much to see here, reservoirs, water birds, heroes wood, playground, cycle track (Fallowfield Loop passes here), eco centre, coffee shop, community hub, flora and fauna, wildlife, tennis courts, skateboard park, bowling, loads of space to picnic (take your rubbish away please), a Mac Donald’s, just a short walk to the Donkey Sanctuary and two large golf courses. Best using public transport to get here as there’s not loads of space to park. Well worth a visit.”

“This review is based on 1 particular meal, customer service, food quality and packaging in comparison to other takeaways I’ve been to in Manchester and London… I don’t usually give reviews unless I’ve been to a place on a number of occasions because sometimes like everyone else, we have bad days therefore, food or service might not be as consistent. However, fortunately to say - Heng Seng have been consistent over the years I have been going there. My review is based on the vegetable chow mien and chicken (halal) chow mien dishes alongside salt & pepper chips and prawn crackers (had other stuff too but I’m comparing to other takeaways). - Over the course of 5 years, me and my partner fell in love with their vegetable chow mien. Tonight, the chicken (halal) chow mien took that spot. Their chow mien is BANGING! Full of flavour, generous on the portion size and not just full of noodles (like some places). It’s not heavy on oil, doesn’t leave you feeling unhealthy or groggy - salt and pepper chips: again, good size, lots of flavour and not too much salt - prawn crackers: these are just right. A lot of places we’ve been to either tastes too fish or are too oily - so hands down, Heng Seng smashed it. We’ve always ordered our food then collected. Never had to wait long and customer service was always exceptional and first class. I’m not a food critic btw - I just know my flavours, oil and spices cos I’m an Asian! Plus I travel a lot. In summary, really impressed with this takeaway.”

“Looking for a place to enjoy the night with good people then this is the place. Free pool on Wednesday for those who enjoy a good game with a pint. They also have a team who have won a lot of trophies as well as the darts girls so well done for that. They have karaoke all weekend and then karaoke competition on a Monday which is fun but also you get to see Hyde for some of its good talent. Not often a place for trouble and any time there is any then it's dealt with immediately to allow the good people to enjoy their night. Also run by a brilliant landlord and landlady who are friendly to everyone and join in with the fun.”

“I went into BCS Parts today (Wednesday). My local garage ordered in a part for my Vauxhall Astra yesterday but couldn’t fit it until today, only to realise that an additional part was required to complete the job. I was infuriated as I believed it was BCS Parts that mistakenly didn’t add the extra part that was required. So I left my local garage to travel a few miles to obtain the extra part for my vehicle. As soon as I arrived, a man called Pete attended to me straight away. I explained to him what the issue was, and he explained that my local garage made a mistake of not adding the extra part required to the order. Pete, diffused my frustration within moments and he made me realise that it wasn’t actually their wrongdoing. He also went above and beyond to give me the required part for free. He really didn’t need to that as I was more than happy to pay. These guys at BCS are really genuine and the warehouse looks as if they stick almost everything. Thanks once again BCS, Thanks Pete.”
