“Definitely a hidden greek gem in Eccles. I came here with one of my best friend that she is greek and se highly recommended it. Staff were very friendly and so happy to explain me which was the best way to try the dishes. Food is extraordinary and also massively loaded, each bite all the sauce and food was going everywhere. Atmosphere is quite like a small greek restaurant, very close and very few sits a available but very cozy. Highly recommended with high quality food. Willing to eat greek food? Must be from here!”

“Nice staff, plenty of stock which is all priced. Some of their frozen foods are delicious especially Greggs pasties. They have lots of frozen vegetables to choose from and have some bargains with many different varieties of cheese.”

The variety, choice & quality of all their products is excellent, really high standards from their wine, to the cheese, to the coffee & locally sourced bakery goods & not only do the WP team really know the detail, story, flavour of the products, they know how to recommend to you based on your likes or what you’re having with it! It’s brilliant to have such a lovely, friendly, welcoming place on the high street, where you feel comfortable to pop in for a drink on your own or with friends. Emma & Will & their whole team are fantastic & make a fab little shop even better. The best place for miles around.”

“Bought my persian cat Toby here today for the first time and honestly could not have asked for a better experience. Toby had a bad experience previously at a different groomers which left him quite traumatised and extremely reluctant to be groomed, the girls at Sammy's did such an amazing job and were so calming even though he was very agitated and snappy (Toby's sorry)! I'm so glad I've found Sammy's and have already booked him in for his next pamper session. Highly recommend this place; the shop is so clean and smells divine! The prices are amazing aswell! “The best curry goat I've ever had, no surprise bones or gristle, I literally dream about it. It would be my last supper if on death row! Leroy is lovely, his homemade jerk sauce is gorgeous & spicy, and my colleagues have never said a bad word about the jerk chicken or stew beef.”

“Hi Yetti, As I sit here eating leftovers from last night, I just wanted to say a huge thank you once again for your service. Over 6 months since I first contacted you and at all times you were so professional and replied promptly. The food was amazing, I really loved the plantain bruschettas, suya and jollof rice especially. The portions!!!! My goodness, I ordered food for 15 and we could probably have fed 50! We were able to make sure all our guests had generous portions and plenty to take home for all of us. Lastly, the food came on time and even when it arrived slightly later than projected, I was politely informed. The personalised birthday card that came with it was also a nice touch. I wouldn’t hesitate to book you ten times over!”

“A vast variety of Bulgarian products, from frozen to produce and pantry, you can find anything that you miss from home! Incredibly versatile considering the amount of space they have! They even stock traditional dishware.”

“Was staying at a hotel and Ordered some food on just eat. The estimated time for delivery Had passed but the app said the food was delivered. So i phoned the restaurant to find out what happened. I was told that the driver arrived, tried phoning me, but no answer, so they left (I didn't recieve any phonecalls, I was using my phone all the time I was waiting for my delivery) . The guy on the phone apologised, and said he would get fresh food made up for me. After I got off the phone I realised there were missed calls from the driver, even though my phone didn't ring. 15 minutes my replacement order arrived, the driver was apologetic and understanding, and smiling, even though the initial problem was kind of my fault (technology problem I guess),.... Food was lovely, full of flavour, and hot. ..And this was at 3am. That's what you call customer service! Great food, great service, great restaurant. Fully recommend”

“This was my first visit to Playfoots, and it won't be my last. What an amazing place! We turned up at just after 9 am on a Sunday and the place was already 3/4 full downstairs. We were welcomed and seated by an incredibly friendly hostess, who was great throughout our visit despite being obviously very busy. The coffee was as good as coffee can be. The breakfast was the best I've had for years. I had the full English and hubby had banoffee French toast. Every mouthful was gorgeous. We also loved the decor here; there was something quirky to look at in every direction, including up. I recommend Playfoots without hesitation.”
