Now that they have a self ordering till it has really impressed me not only can you see your order but u no longer have to wait in a mile long queue waiting for people to choose if they want extra egg or not. The staff are always really helpful and kind. To top it off it's actually great on price too.”

“I went in here with my dad and brother. Staff are lovely and friendly, the pub was really clean, and the drinks were poured well. The pub is large too! Prices are great considering current prices and I've always like Holts' brand. A big plus is the location. The fact its in Gorton but doesn't attract riff raff is massive for me. “came last night for a meal with friend. 10 of us had carvery which was fresh and meats were cooked perfectly. 5 of us had the normal menu a mixture of steak dishes and chicken all came out hot and fresh steaks cooked perfectly to what we asked for. The pub has really changed since we last visited much nicer inside. The staff were great and really helpful and friendly thank you for our great girls night out.”

The food is very tasty and authentic. The fish cakes are excellent and can definitely tell they are homemade, a lot of Thai restaurant/takeaways just buy these in bulk. “Been going to Bosons chippy for years as its one of the best chippies in Hyde. Probably the only chippy that has a small restaurant attached to it where you can have a meal and drink without leaving the premises. Ideal for families and friends to meet up. The food is fresh and of quality, fish is now only cooked when order which makes the fish better. Caters for most people who like English traditional chippy teas etc. The staff are pleasant and friendly.”

It's not the usual type of place my wife and I normally go for food but we were on our way back from an Alice Cooper gig and it was one of the only places open. Had a chicken and donner naan and wow, taste sensation is an understatement, my wife had a spicy chicken burger, she said it was better than her normal chicken legend at McDonald's, high praise indeed because she's been resting that for years. We've never looked back since, the food is amazing value, portions are huge, this place is a real hidden gem. We've now taken to coming here on a regular basis as our guilty pleasure. Highly recommended and the staff are great too boot, go, you'll not be disappointed.”

“Best Kebabs in Tameside without a doubt. They don't just dump the kebab meat on a naan like most takeaways do. They cook the meat with a variety of spices and flavours in a wok which make it so so tasty.”

“This takeaway is my guilty pleasure! I'm now a regular customer and every single meal I've had has been fantastic. The pizza's and garlic bread are tremendous with generous portions. The cheese garlic bread contains the most amount of cheese that nobody else does and importantly, its a good grade of cheese so its tasty. I love the kebabs from here and they go to the effort to make their own chilli sauce which is spectacular and just how a chilli sauce should be. By the way, its got a nice kick to it! This is a family business and the guys working there are genuinely really nice and decent people that care about their business and its great seeing it being successful!”
