“Nice pleasant gym/spa with a swimming pool and squash courts could do with a cafe as a way of bringing in more money for them as its charitable run .very friendly staff with a good range of classes from keep fit to yoga and self defence .”

“Great little pub with friendly staff and very reasonable pricing. I often buy vouchers for my parents as a treat and they always have a good time and really enjoy the food. A little gem tucked away next to Golden Days garden centre. Would highly recommend.”

“Had an excellent stay here. Staff were welcoming and friendly even though I checked in in the middle of the night. Room was large and comfortable. Free parking was available as well as a free electric car charger which was a bonus. Overall would definitely recommend and will return in the future.”

“Best welcome ever. This is an older premier inn,with actual keys. After a nightmare flight back from Frankfurt we arrived tired and annoyed but the guy at the front desk and the manageress in the back room just made our day. Both kind, friendly and chatty 10 out of 10. Even gave us 2 little bottles of wine. Unbelievable but what a random act of kindness. Yes the hotel is old but it's clean, beds still comfy, room has everything you need and staff on hand. Location is walkable into handforth which has pubs, restaurants and take aways. Location feels very safe. 10 minutes easy drive to the airport. Thanks.”

“I was recently recommended to this jewellers by a friend who knew I was looking for a new engagement ring. We were introduced to Joseph who took the time to show us some rings, all exceptional quality, but not what I had in mind, so he suggested he could design and make the ring of my choice. I was completely blown away by the finished piece, it was outstanding, even better than I had planned. It has received lots of comments about its sparkle and plenty of admiration. So impressed that we then bought earrings for valentines day. The quality, price and of course the service throughout was impeccable and cannot be recommended highly enough, everything was 24 carat gold and of course Joseph is a pure diamond.”

“Excellent service from arrival at 5.45am to our return two and a half weeks later at 8pm. Fast efficient transfer to and from the airport and Chris and Karen are very friendly and accommodation. Highly recommended and will be using them in the future. You feel far more confident with your car under their stewardship rather than leaving it at the airport with the chance of the vehicle being damaged or broken into.”

Can recommend manicures, pedicures, great facials and massages as well as eye brow threading and eye lash tint and a host of other treatments as well. All staff excellent and friendly. Relaxing experiences and a pleasure to go for ‘the must’ treatments. Not expensive and good value.”

“Outstanding service, and eye for design, and an absolutely beautiful range of sofas and fabrics. I visited the shop numerous times in October, armed with photos, and paint charts!! Emma was brilliant and completely understood what I was looking for. She came up with several different options in different colour ways and prices, samples also arrived really quickly, along with answers to questions and additional inspiration for cushions and footstools. “First of all, a big thanks to Nanette for such a brilliant day! My partner booked the birds of prey experience for both of us as a Valentines Day gift and it was full of knowledge and fun! It was easy to see how much passion Nanette has for wildlife which we admired and we even put to bed any bad opinions on vultures as Nanette wanted to showcase how these birds are actually quite funny and interesting regarding how they have their place in disease prevention in third world countries. There are so many birds here and all are beautiful and have their own character. Thanks again for such a great knowledgeable day and we’ll definitely be back soon for the Meerkat experience!
