“This was a large order and i was chuffed that there were no items missing because I saw the workers triple checking everything was there. Service was great and the food is really good, particularly the kebabs and pizza. Well done chaps”

“I was greeted by Beth, she was on front of house/ bar lovely very polite and welcoming. When I went over to get a carvery, I was met by Kyle and Ellis who apologised as they were in the back restocking the veg! The value for money is fantastic and the staff are so kind and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you!”

“Very lovely staff and service, always felt very welcome. Exquisite hot chocolate and sweets! Plenty of choice for lunch and snacks, homemade goods in all departments and always tidy and clean. Love the location too, and love the events that they host, only been to a couple so far and looking forward to attending more in the future. Overall superb and welcoming :)”

“Food is great and for a very good price. Byriani portions are enormous, and everything is plated nicely. So far we loved everything and been there twice and ordered in once. Only thing that is missing is more people eating in, Mrs As deserves it!”

“Beautiful restaurant that looks like it belongs in the city centre. Great food. Only gave 4 stars for atmosphere as we were tucked in the corner by the rear doors which the staff were in and out of quite regularly. But otherwise excellent”

“Was staying at a hotel and Ordered some food on just eat. The estimated time for delivery Had passed but the app said the food was delivered. So i phoned the restaurant to find out what happened. I was told that the driver arrived, tried phoning me, but no answer, so they left (I didn't recieve any phonecalls, I was using my phone all the time I was waiting for my delivery) . The guy on the phone apologised, and said he would get fresh food made up for me. After I got off the phone I realised there were missed calls from the driver, even though my phone didn't ring. 15 minutes my replacement order arrived, the driver was apologetic and understanding, and smiling, even though the initial problem was kind of my fault (technology problem I guess),.... Food was lovely, full of flavour, and hot. ..And this was at 3am. That's what you call customer service! Great food, great service, great restaurant. Fully recommend”

“This was my first visit to Playfoots, and it won't be my last. What an amazing place! We turned up at just after 9 am on a Sunday and the place was already 3/4 full downstairs. We were welcomed and seated by an incredibly friendly hostess, who was great throughout our visit despite being obviously very busy. The coffee was as good as coffee can be. The breakfast was the best I've had for years. I had the full English and hubby had banoffee French toast. Every mouthful was gorgeous. We also loved the decor here; there was something quirky to look at in every direction, including up. I recommend Playfoots without hesitation.”

“Great location by an airfield. We did Ring Of Red around Manchester and called in here for a very welcome cuppa. Incredibly busy with lots of red clad bikers, like we do when we impersonate a giant poppy, ha. Long queue, but on the ball staff who served efficiently. Tea was good and not UHT either, whuuup, whuuuppp. Loads of seating inside and out with great views of a very active airfield. First time here, I'll be back.”

“Quite possibly the best fast food in Eccles. The only place I'll entertain getting a cheeky takeaway dinner on my dinner break. Food is top notch, decent lunch time meals and the chips in particular are the best I've had from a takeaway. I've read quite a snotty review from someone saying the chips are always soggy. He is clearly misinformed as I've never had this, and since I've been going occasionally for the past 4 years (it's my pay day treat!) I feel if the chips were 'always' soggy I'd have had them by now. Chicken is also very nice... and the donner meat, well thats as good as it can be I guess! Definitely worth a try!”

“Absolutely incredible! Food was 10/10, staff were super friendly and the service was very efficient. We had the Roast dinner (available on Sundays), and finished off with Sticky Toffee Pudding. Wonderful atmosphere, will certainly be revisiting!”

“Best fish and chips I’ve had outside of going to a restaurant for a long time. We have an ‘award winning’ chippy closer to us but much prefer the Winton Bar. Freshly cooked fish, and you can order small fish which for me is more than enough. They lightly batter them on request and they’re cooked to perfection, nice crispy batter and lovely chips (2 small portions enough for 3 of us) not all hard and bitty like I’ve had elsewhere. Friendly staff too.”

“First time ordering from here but will definitely be ordering again! One of the only Indian takeaway places I know that offer quorn as an option for vegetarians as oppose to just vegetable options and the Quorn Bhuna was amazing! I went for my standard first order of a Lamb Tikka Madras, the lamb was tender, not at all chewy and the Madras had a lot of flavour. It was on the milder side of some Madras I've had but would order it again!”
