“We went here on the second day. They have a very nice and simple menu of great traditional Mediterranean dishes. We tried a wide selection of starters, mains and desserts and they all deliver very high quality whilst being very well priced. The service is very friendly and it is a welcome and addition to the area, you will not be disappointed.”

We tried a lot of dishes and I can say that this is definitely a higher end Indian, not drowned in sauces, these dishes were well balanced, full of flavour and spiced well. “Some of the best Shawarma if eaten, period, and very reasonably priced at that, costing now £3.50 for a chicken shawarma wrap. Best thing for me is the freshly cooked bread with every wrap! - makes it! Thought this place had closed down until recently, but it just moved from the the tiny adjacent shop to next door. Glad to know the Manchester staple is back. Great friendly service also. Highly recommend!”

“Took my Mum for a special treat as she lives around the corner and hasn't been before. Athena and her team made us feel so welcome and the food was incredible. Shots here of delicious main meals, lobster ravioli with prawns and the seafood paella. Highly recommended!”

“We ordered from the Valentine's set menu and it was great. Chipotle chicken to start with, followed by sirloin steak and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The food was lovely. Ordered my steak medium well and it came more on the medium side but it was rectified. The strawberry twist drink is a must for the non drinkers! Our waitress was superb. She was attentive, polite, engaged in conversation with us and overall amazing at her job. This is why we return to Wilmslow.”

“I had heard from family that this place was the place to go for a curry. I came in with pretty high expectations. Those expectations were easily exceeded. The restaurant is beautiful decorated, the hello upon arrival and the smiling friendly service was fantastic. The food was of high quality and the price considering the quality of food is very reasonable. Our waiter Amin is a credit to the restaurant, 10/10 service. We will see you again soon.”

“Greeted at the door. Took my son for a post football treat. Not that normal sort of place as is aimed at discerning diners/lunch seekers, we were lad and dad brunch seekers! The lady and gent that served us were really attentive and alert. Lovely with my 8 year old too. Divided things on menu to accommodate us and just made us feel like we could stay there all day it was that relaxed. Food was of a high standard and arrived still warm and fresh from the oven. Scotch bonnet chilli sauce was especially good which we got with our pizza. The sorbets are well above average too. All in all a great place, loved it! We were served by Elle and Isaac. Who enhanced an already good experience.”

“Yesterday I went there for eating dinner, for eating my first meal in Manchester after a long trip, I ate my middle eastern food, it was good and tasty food, but their spoons and forks were plastic I hate it, and one another thing they use a type of spicy and put in every food, I don't like it, taste like Indian foods, however, have a clean place with respectful staff.”

“Had an excellent stay here. Staff were welcoming and friendly even though I checked in in the middle of the night. Room was large and comfortable. Free parking was available as well as a free electric car charger which was a bonus. Overall would definitely recommend and will return in the future.”

“Best welcome ever. This is an older premier inn,with actual keys. After a nightmare flight back from Frankfurt we arrived tired and annoyed but the guy at the front desk and the manageress in the back room just made our day. Both kind, friendly and chatty 10 out of 10. Even gave us 2 little bottles of wine. Unbelievable but what a random act of kindness. Yes the hotel is old but it's clean, beds still comfy, room has everything you need and staff on hand. Location is walkable into handforth which has pubs, restaurants and take aways. Location feels very safe. 10 minutes easy drive to the airport. Thanks.”

“Happened to be in Wilmslow for a wedding at the weekend and found this place whilst wandering around for some dinner. Glad I found the place. I'm not a huge sushi fan but the choice for sashimi was quite vast. I chose the vegetarian gyoza. They looked great and tasted good too. They could have maybe been a bit crisper inside but it didn't deflect from the taste. I decided on the only ramen on the menu. It was as good as any I've had at chain ramen restaurants and a bit better. The decor is modern and the staff were all incredibly welcoming and efficient. A nice find.”

“Super peri peri Chicken restaurant in Manchester. I have had meals in this Nando's in Pars Wood several times. Never ever disappointed. Humus with peri peri spice is excellent. Grilled Halloumi fantastic. Staff is friendly. Nice ambiance. Quick turn around time. Sauces are amazing. Love the garlic peri peri medium. Even burgers are quite nice. Can be busy at times. Highly recommended.”

“Great rooms, decent size. Everything you need. Bathrooms are tired to be honest and the bathroom floor needs changed, it was old vinyl and bubbled causing it to raise in areas. The restaurant staff at dinner were extremely friendly and good service. The food was exceptional.”

“Simply the best place in Manchester for a kebab (or mixed grill) and naan. 10/10. The food is delicious. Free soup (with nice spices) and truly unlimited Kurdish tea. The service is exquisite. The restaurant is busy, spacious and they really look after you when it comes to going above and beyond, e.g. birthday celebrations etc. Great facilities. A diamond in the rough. There is another Kurdish restaurant on this street that needs to take lessons from Slemani. The other restaurant took 1 hour+ for service, indeed the service was non-existent. The soup was cold at the other restaurant. The tea didn't arrive. Facilities were dated. The whole experience was sub-optimal.”

“I’m Gna give the stars. Mainly for the service. The food was good. Not like wow factor but tasty and good. For the money..... it’s very good value. The staff are really good. Like really really good! I asked an opinion on a dish the chap servicing me was quiet a big guy. Kept calling me brother and called my wife sister which was really nice of him ..... the guy got the dish out from the kitchen ! Just to show me ! That’s some serious stuff. Really kind. Really cold glass of water. We ordered half chicken and a Parmeasan dish too. I will always go back. I go there a lot but never left a review. But as for my last visit. This is needed.”

“My daughter Lucy had her sixteenth birthday party at Wilmslow Kitchen Cookery School last weekend. It was fantastic! Sarah and her team kept everyone totally involved and all left with an impressive showstopper cake and salted caramel eclairs.
