After only 5 minutes, I was asked if I wanted a free coffee as my jacket potato was going to be a while. Who even thinks a jacket spud is going to be a quick service? It was well worth the wait! Friendly and efficient service. Warm and comfy atmosphere. I recommend this venue. I will be back. Thank you.”

Rocksalt Cafe Bar
● Closed192 Heaton Moor Road, Heaton Moor, Stockport SK4 4DU, United Kingdom“We visit Rock Salt on a regular basis and have always leave with a very positive experience. The cafe bar has such a lovely vibe and the staff are always pleasant and welcoming. A special mention goes to Vera whose commitment to the business is both obvious and outstanding. Steve is also a lovely and hard working member of staff. Jamie has a great command of the kitchen … the team turns out food of a consistently high standard and we always thoroughly enjoy our meals there. All-in-all our favourite place to eat in Heaton Moor. Thank you to Jason for getting it ‘so right’. Mike and Katrina”

Premier Inn Manchester Tameside (Hyde) hotel
● Open“We have stayed at this PI regularly for about 15 years so that we can visit family. Even though team members have changed, it is still staffed by a great team of friendly and helpful staff and the rooms are spotlessly clean. Thank you all! However, over the last couple of years, a very clear and "uncomfortable" demarcation has evolved between this PI and the associated restaurant. The restaurant has extremely rigid rules for eating times etc. and enforces them in a forthright manner... it makes the whole hotel experience unpleasant. We prefer to eat at the great Café in Tesco, a short walk away. The staff are really lovely and the food is good - far less stressful.”

The Brasserie at Harvey Nichols Manchester
● Closed“Reading the other recent reviews here, I can understand the general comments. We waited about 20 minutes for our drinks, but nothing else went wrong at all. The food we ate was first class, we all finished the lot! We were served by a man with glasses called Will. He literally didn't stop in the 2 hours we were there. He was so friendly, nothing was too much trouble. He clearly understands his job role. Unfortunately the other staff members didn't seem as switched on. In my opinion of course. So for Will's first class service, as well as the exceptional food, 5 stars. We just hope it isn't Will's day off when we return!”
