Open Kitchen Cafe & Bar
● Open“+ Excellent food Sunday lunch when we went - excellent choice of beef, pork of lamb (plus nut roast) - very good Another time we had one of the best full English breakfasts we've had in Manchester Nice choice of beers (draught) and soft/hot drinks Very warm and welcoming atmosphere - Occasionally the menu is limited, but it changes regularly Overall, a really excellent business and initiative in a great museum”

Embankment Cafe Co.
● Open“Quiet, cool, great iced coffee for a reasonable price. Loads of power sockets for your laptop. Comfortable chairs and sofas. If public music bothers you, I recommend having noise cancelling headphones.”
-
Chapati Cafe (media city)
● Open“Great little place for a lovely lunchtime curry. Generous portions, different currys every day. Really tasty and the meat is top notch too. Highly recommended.”
-
Wild Mint Kitchen Cafe

Ordsall Hall
● Closed“Waay too underrated! The whole story gave me goosebumps throughout the castle! U cannot go there and tell me it wasn’t worth it! There was amazing staff that u could literally talk to for hours! A lovely lady told us the whole story of that mansion. Even the scary but heartbreaking ghost story (lady in white). Anyways, just the little artifacts and the architecture is worth seeing! So if you’re thinking of visiting, you should definitely go there! There’s even a huge garden surrounding the place!”

The Gas Lamp
● Closed“A favourite of ours since moving to Manchester. Friendly staff, chilled vibe and great selection of beers in an authentic, vintage environment. It's a hidden gem, down some stairs in a basement and stands out from the usual garish, chain or flashy cocktail bars of Spinningfields.”

Bill's Spinningfields Restaurant
● OpenSalford M3 3EB, United Kingdom“Lovely place. They have a good quantity of nice options to choose. The presentation of the food is good with prices running around 8-13£, they have also a day menu. Don't spect a fast food service, you will not come here to that. Waiters are really nice and friendly and the place is nice to come with a small group of friends, family or your partner.”

Black Sheep Coffee & Cocktails
● Open“Nice atmosphere, good coffee and cake. Soft caramel on the millionaires shortbread (and a good layer of chocolate). My partner enjoys the turmeric latte here too.”

Bean Coffee
● Open“Bean shares a Burntwood co-working space, so as you'd expect it's got a professional vibe. There's somewhere to hang your coat, beautiful furniture and coffee is taken seriously (without being pretentious) so it feels high-end: but remains reasonably priced and the service is friendly without making you feel pestered or that you're out-staying your welcome. It's a perfect place to quietly type out an email, catch up with colleagues or catch your breath between meetings.”
-
The Winston
● Open“Not my local but enjoyed a quick pint or two while waiting for lift. Very friendly behind the bar!”
-
The Beer House Bar & Kitchen
● Open“Tom and Shirley are great bar keepers. It’s a good spot to wait for your train.”
