“Our Collie Cross Mabel stayed here a few days early September after a friend recommended them. From start to finish nothing too much trouble. Gill goes the extra mile with her animals. They also look so smart in the dress. We will certainly visit again when next in the UK.”

“It's a beautiful place to visit with a boating lake, aviaries, play areas for big kids and little kids and some lovely short walks. Not to mention bowling tennis football and a cafe. It's also got a train and ice-cream in summer. It's just unfortunate that the botanical house has died a death ( shame on you shameside!)”

“Used for a working lunch, 2nd time in a couple of months. Busy as you might expect being Christmas run up but service was spot on. Food was a good standard with a varied menu. We opted for the Festive Fare Menu (but had cod) and this was served with brussels, parsnips etc., and was very nice.”

“We ordered the AK burger and the clucking hell burger. Both absolutely delicious, generous portions and really well presented.We had the waffle with mint aero too which was amazing. I preordered and it was ready bang on time, staff are really friendly and the shop itself is really clean and modern, they should really think about opening a restaurant! The only downfall is that as it’s so close to my house I’m probably going to put all the lockdown weight back on that I’ve just tried to shift. “Fine establishment I must say. Cracking pint of Carling. Visited with 4 friends yesterday and Howie behind the bar was an absolute gentleman. Played pool, had music on the jukebox and we have a right laugh. Will definitely be back.”
