“Well positioned shop, with ample space for the full Rapha range. Usually have good stock of most items and staff are very helpful and friendly. The cafe is also a gem, serving great coffee and a selection of cakes, sandwiches etc. Little pricey, but it is rapha after all! There is usually some cycling on the big screens, and a nice atmosphere. The window bar seats are a great place to people watch over King Street.”

They have supplied me with a number of appliances over the years -a freezer, washing machines, a cooker, including delivery to a top floor flat (something Currys baulked at doing). Their prices are compatible and often better than John Lewis and they go the extra mile to find spare parts for appliances. My old Kenwood mixer has been kept going because they, and only they, found the spares.I would always use them now rather than a large distributor because of their great customer care.”

“We've been having an electrical problem with our Ford C-Max for the last few weeks, so I called in at MHB Auto Spares this afternoon to ask if they could take a look at the battery and alternator for me. Without hesitation, they popped the bonnet and ran a free check on the battery - it needed a new one. It's quite complex to change the battery on a C-Max, as parts of the engine need removing in order to swap out the battery. Just 20 minutes later, a new battery was fitted, complete with a 12 month warranty at an AMAZING price - even cheaper than I could have bought the battery for online! I have used MHB many times over their 35 years in business, and will continue to do so. Another great job well done, and so fast - thanks so much!”

“I took part in the TPA piercing course in Manchester this past weekend and my overall experience was incredible. I originally had booked to participate down in London, however due to behind the scenes issues, it meant that the course would change to Manchester. At first I was worried and felt very anxious, however Sammy (admin) went above and beyond to ease every single worry that I had, even to the extent of rebooking my hotel for me as the one I'd paid for originally was non refundable. He didn't just leave it at that, he even called me on the evening of day 1 (whilst he was at the airport) to double check I had arrived okay and was settled. Again, going above and beyond with their customer care. Anyway, I travelled up and arrived at the salon and then met the teacher, Sunny, and 9 other participants all taking the course. The two day course was intense, but packed with incredible and helpful information. The first day was theory, and in depth information regarding all key health and safety aspects, including business set up, cross contamination, hygiene, infection controll/prevention/spread, and of course all aspects of piercing. The second day saw practical work; first on fake skin and then on live models. Regardless of how anxious we were or how much we lacked in confidence, by the end of the weekend we were all competent and had learnt so much knowledge. No question was too big or too small or insignificant, we were all treated fairly with respect and all round wholesomeness. Sunny was an incredible teacher, and dedicated his time to all of us, and still does now. The teaching and support didn't stop when we walked out of the door having passed our exams and passed the course. Not only have we made life long friends with the others on the course, but we have a life long mentor too. The owner, Alan was just as professional, he and Sunny were a really well paired ying and yang, that made the work easy to understand and absorb. TPA has created an incredible course where you feel suppprted, encouraged, cared for and listened to in a very warm, relaxed environment. By far, this is one of the best things I have ever done and I am so glad that I chose this company to start my career with From start to finish, the customer and pupil care has been second to none. Thank you again, to Sammy, Sunny and Alan for their time and dedication to us all, their encouragement and support has meant that I now have the confidence to be successful. “Had a mobile repair company look at the deep scratches to my front bumper, they told me they would have to spray the full bumper as blending it could look a different shade of blue and would cost around £400! Drive past CRS on my way home from work and called in, found the guys here are very genuine and honest and said it wouldn’t be a problem to blend it in. All I can say is I’m absolutely over the moon with the work the lads have done, for half the price.”

Katie was waiting behind the till for me on arrival, even though I was a few minutes early. We went in and she was professional, but super friendly! She told me what needed to be fixed with my brows and confirmed that I was happy with her plan to fix it before going ahead, which was really lovely.
