“We eat here tonight, a busy Friday, we got a table in the dog friendly section with our pup. All of the bar and serving staff were friendly, helpful and generally fantastic. Food was lovely and we didn't wait long despite it being busy.”

“Visited here as I much prefer small independents to large chains. Surprisingly varied menu covering breakfasts through to lunches & afternoon tea. Food is freshly prepared & good quality. Friendly service & nice décor, courtyard garden for the warmer weather. Dog friendly. They can also cater for small parties functions etc. Been a few times now, becoming quite a regular!”

“Came here on Sunday and got the "two for £20" deal on Sunday roast, amazed at the great quality and value for money. We were seated in one of the booths which was really comfy and we had plenty of room for 4 of us, there is perspex screens in-between all the seating making us all feel safe. Staff were really friendly and everything was a smooth operation. Can't wait to come back and have another roast.”

“Stopped overnight at the truck stop and called in to the onsite m&s store to find a really good selection of fine fresh food of which was presented very well indeed but also to find two wonderfully helpfully staff that were so helpfull and accomadating both a credit to this store so Catherine. “Very impressed with The Crown. Came for an unexpected visit after The Little Manor pub in Thelwall was full and couldn't serve us. The Crown has a very pleasant modern layout inside which you wouldn't expect seeing it from the outside. The food menu was a little bit limited on choice, but that was fine as the food we had was lovely. The staff are all very pleasant and very welcoming even though we had never been here before. And most important and a huge bonus to The Crown they welcome dogs. This will definitely be on my list of regular places to visit.”

“Amazing night. Celebrating my friends birthday. Her daughter was a massive hit on the Karaoki, and her son was too. The owners Steve and Neil were FAB! So welcoming and entertaining. First time there but we will be back for sure. The food was fantastic too. Top marks to chef.”

“Had a great meal at the Waterside tonight celebrating a 21st birthday. The pub was busy, had a great atmosphere and the food was great and very well presented, but what stood out was the fantastic service from the whole team serving us, with Vicky in particular doing a great job of not only looking after the whole table, but also paying attention to the youngest member of the group.”

“Some Pizza Express are terrible, this is the exception, staff were brilliant, menu offers gluten free options. Try the ricotta and date desert, it's awesome. Only thing is that many pizzas had smoked veg/meat. I can't eat smoked food due to allergy so my choice was limited a little.”
