“After having a very very cold bus trip for 4h this restaurant was our salvation. From the outside one does not know what to expect, but once the door was opened we really got surprised. The warm and nice atmosphere inside made us enjoy the delicious lunch even more. The Spätzle tasted truly authentic, but at the same time had a touch of originality. We strongly recommend the Spätzle “Guanciale” (sadly not on the photos), which are a beautiful mix of different countries traditional plates. All in all this restaurant is something different and offers a nice variation of very interesting dishes and drinks. We strongly recommend it :)”

“Just had the vegan special...wow !! I'm not even vegan but went full vegan option and it was banging!! Toasted to perfection and the addition of some chilli heat wave Doritos in it for that crunch took it to the next level. I had the Bhaji sandwich the other week which was awesome too but I think with maybe a little mint (vegan) Yoghurt on it would take it level with today's taste sensation. What do you think Rack?”

“Awesome little shop with great selection of beer and wine. Always receive a warm welcome and the coffee is gorgeous. Slowly building a stock of other items like gifts, most of which are very local which is fab. Love local supporting local. Also the pies and brownies are to die for. Beware, you will not shift the lockdown weight!!”

Highly recommended 5* Update Dec 22' Finally got round to tasting the wonderful pizza at Lupo. Its definitely the best pizza I've ever tasted, everything was so so fresh and tasty. “Today I went to Linguine for my best friends 21st birthday meal. There were 9 of us in total and the staff at the restaurant made sure to seat us on a large table with plenty of space. The table was very clean and set up lovely. The staff were very welcoming and friendly from the get go. The staff made sure that nobody was left without a drink and would regularly ask if we needed anything else. The waiting time for food was short and the food was piping hot and absolutely delicious. The food portions were very generous and very good for the price! The staff also brought out a birthday cake and everyone sang happy birthday. It was a lovely meal for my friends birthday all thank you to the staff at the restaurant. They definitely made our evening. I will be returning:) Thank you so much for such a wonderful night.”

“Lovely little brunch spot, don’t let the queues and wait time tune you off it’s well worth it. I had steak and eggs with a batch filter and a Bloody Mary. Steak was cooked perfectly and the sauce was delicious. Coffees were tasty and Bloody Mary hit the spot. Can’t remember what my partner had but it was also delicious. Offers on the cocktails. Really enjoyed”

“We hired the upstairs room for a get together with friends. We had a fantastic time! The guys working there were friendly and helpful and did everything they could to make our time with them a great one. The Sunday roast was amazing! They put the menu together for us as they normally only do Brunch menu. Can’t recommend them enough. Thank you Dom, Joe and team.”

“A warm relaxing ambience , open mic nights, a VERY reasonable variety of 'non-coffee' beverages - on Draught, bottle or can, a variety of comfortable seating, some basic dining options with any manner of takeaways welcomed, clean restrooms... need I go on? And they have great coffee! Excellent place to chill with friends.”

“Lovely staff. The coffee is lovely and very quick. No plastic cutlery, all recyclable wood. If the benches outside are wet they will cheerfully provide a dry sheet of cardboard or a plastic bag to sit on. Sausages cooked to order for your dog. They like dogs!”

“Lovely staff in the cafe. In fact I wouldn’t call it a a cafe. I would call it a cafe I wold call it an restaurafe. The only down side was our drinks ( mine an extra hot cappuccino) was sat waiting for the waitress to take it to me. Therefore, it was cold when it reached our table. We were very close too where they make the coffee. The food was lovely and I was provided with with a bag for the other half of the wrap I couldn’t eat so I could take home. The Butcher’s had an amazing array of meat. The steak beef burgers that I bought were the best that I have ever tasted. The young lad that served me was very knowledgeable too. The staff in the grocery department were brilliant too especially when I asked the lady for ‘a quarter’ of pear drops ( I’m old school at 53) she didn’t bat an eyelid and gave me my (quarter) of sweets. What can I say? 24ct gold service.”
