“We arrived for our 8.15pm booking to find the restaurant very busy, we got served a drink and thought we'd have a long wait. This wasn't the case at all. We ordered and our food arrived without having to wait, excellent service. The food was delicious, we all thoroughly enjoyed the evening and will definitely be going again soon. Highly recommend.”

“Freshly cooked food. Went in for something to eat before going to Blackpool. Lady who owns it is very friendly. I the middle of the pandemic felt safe sitting in and eating. Cleaning was in process as we got there. Hand sanitizer available too. Would highly recommend this cafe. Right opposite the train station.”

Barms were made fresh and took about 5 minutes. Barms were scrumptious! Bread lovely and soft, very fresh. Egg was dippy. Only slight criticism could do with a little more spam. Small step into cafe so maybe a struggle for wheelchair users.”

“Hi Chris i deliver to you until you start to get advantage. is true was on one slice pizza out and you show to my driver when you complain and you didnt want to give him back pizza to show me you just ring me to receive another one from me free and not to give me the one back. you are getting 12” pizza with double mozzarella peperoni ham sweetcorn pinaple for 10 pound delivery including and in 20.25 min because you want fast and now because last time i sent pizza free now you try again to have 2 pizza for 10 pound. i didn’t expect that from you and you know why”

Whilst it does not boast about great decor, inside is a very simplistic with minimal expense spared on seating, the food and service is great. Simple menu choices and reasonably priced food. “So my review is me just me doing a flying visit as we delivered an entrance easel and our baby boxes which we (Bolton Balloon Fairies) provide to hire. Upon entry you get the warmth family feeling, the decor is modern, the staff were very friendly and there was ample space to hold an occasion, there is an easy accessible wheelchair entrance and I would definitely recommend taking a visit whether it be for a drink, family meal or to have an occasion. A very well looked after place and was very clean.”

“Brilliant pub, quiet and peaceful, with a great history! Used to be a music hall back in the 1800's so has been there for a long time. If you want a quiet drink or catch the footie it's a great place to go. Also a great place to have meet ups and functions too! They have a nice little back room that our theatre company rehearses in from time to time and they are always very nice and accomodating! Seriously can't praise this place enough!”

Lots to do and see in the grounds. The spa is well equipped and the outdoor hydro pool is just incredible.”

However more options needs to be given for the sides۔ At the moment they have creamy potatoes۔ Also one has to order steak sauce separately which I think should be included in the price of the steak main dish. They have an excellent dessert restaurant upstairs which does a great platter (pistachio rolls and pistachio baqlawa were delicious and we can have a selection from a variety of cakes and ice cream scoop) at £25 for 2 people.”
