“I can only go off my own experiences when reviewing here and have found Salford Community Leisure excellent value for money. I have the monthly corporate all inclusive package, which gives you full access to all of the classes, gyms and pools across the Salford area. Some of the gyms are in better condition than others, but for what you pay and for what you get, you are getting a really good deal. The staff and instructors I've found all incredibly friendly and helpful. There's a great range of gym classes at all times of the day, evenings and weekends. You can book over the phone, on their booking system and also on their app. My only criticism is like I mentioned earlier, where some of the gyms are in better condition than others, but that is sadly out of SCL's control due to Tory central government cuts over the past 12 years, meaning budgets are tight. I believe there are plans for all of the gyms to eventually be redeveloped or refurbished, but obviously these things take time.”

“Waay too underrated! The whole story gave me goosebumps throughout the castle! U cannot go there and tell me it wasn’t worth it! There was amazing staff that u could literally talk to for hours! A lovely lady told us the whole story of that mansion. Even the scary but heartbreaking ghost story (lady in white). Anyways, just the little artifacts and the architecture is worth seeing! So if you’re thinking of visiting, you should definitely go there! There’s even a huge garden surrounding the place!”

“What an unexpected surprise! Spontaneously went for dinner on Saturday evening. They found us a table in the upstairs area which was lovely. Food was delicious and the service was attentive and helpful. We returned to the downstairs bar for cocktails. All the little details made it a lovely place and we had a wonderful evening. “Cannot fault this place. Room was perfect, spotless and had everything we needed - including an iron, hairdryer plus extras like bath robes. Breakfast each morning was lovely, lots of choice and fresh made. We had room on the 16th floor so night time was just beautiful. Nothing was a problem for staff who were chatty and friendly even when it was super busy. Would most definitely stay here again.”

“Bought some Tanalised wood for a decking project during the Covid-19 lockdown. Was advised by those answering the phones to email in my query. After a few exchanges, I was able to place an order that was delivered at 11am Monday the week I was advised it would be. Very happy with the service, and despite a few warped boards (to be expected) everything was as it should be. Would recommend them based on my experience, and will use them again should I decide to do some more decking.”
