“The staff are fantastic at this hotel. I stayed with my dog and nothing was too much trouble. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a bit of noise from some of the other rooms but nothing too bad. Mainly young people enjoying themselves so it quietened down after a minute or so.”

“Just had the vegan special...wow !! I'm not even vegan but went full vegan option and it was banging!! Toasted to perfection and the addition of some chilli heat wave Doritos in it for that crunch took it to the next level. I had the Bhaji sandwich the other week which was awesome too but I think with maybe a little mint (vegan) Yoghurt on it would take it level with today's taste sensation. What do you think Rack?”

“We've been here three times now and this is the best Indian food that I've had outside of India! The dishes are much more interesting than your usual Indian restaurant - with so much more flavour and beautifully presented. There are excellent vegetarian choices for both starters and main courses. The staff are really friendly and attentive and keen to chat about the menu if you need help choosing. “Just literally finished the food and was absolutely spot on. Burgers were soooooo nice and everything else on top was amazing. We had an issue with missing items on delivery as the driver didn’t drop it off and they soon got us a replacement ready and treated us to some ice cream for the issue. “My husband and I often have brunch or lunch at Fig&Fennel and we love the food there. When deciding where to have my 30th birthday party a few people mentioned that Fig&Fennel do private events in the evening - wow wow wow! Lee was great! The food was absolutely fantastic - all my guests commented on the huge variety of food on the night and how delicious it all was. “Gorgeous cafe. Fits right in with the Underbank development. The coffee is fab and the vegetarian breakfast (smashed avocado with poached eggs and halloumi) was amazing but it's the little touches that nailed it for me: 1. an umbrella stand and a coat stand, ideal when it's a soggy day outside (no dripping all over the cafe) and; 2. a steak knife to cut the sourdough toast. Much underrated. I spotted the cakes as I paid and went back later to sample. The Lotus Biscoff Cheesecake was incredible. Try the mushrooms on toast. Amazing.”

“I visited this cafe with a friend for brunch on a late Sunday morning. With the classical music on in the background and the gentle conversations from the other diners, it felt so relaxing. The owners were lovely. The food was delicious. We had eggs benedict and French onion soup. The coffee was lovely too. I will be definitely visiting again.”
